Am I the only one asking this question?
Why hasn't Intuit Quicken or MS Money integrated with online banking - Wachovia, Bank of America, others?
I access my bank service 4 times a week. It would be nice if they integrated the many features currently obtained from Quicken or Money such as budgeting and money management into the banks online portal. How come no partnerships have materialized?
I am aware that both Quicken and Money allow you to download bank data to each respective program (ala "integrated").
However the ideal situation would be the following:
I don't have to purchase Quicken or Money.
I access my bank online and their online banking portal has been improved with many of the key features typically found in personal finance applications (Quicken or Money). When will the major banks wise up and realize the benefits from this level of integration/partnership?
They both DO integrate with MANY major and several not so major bank on-line services. To the extent they don't, it is usually because the BANK will not allow it or has changed their site and it is hard to keep up.
www.onlinebankingmart.com This ranks up there with bank of America, chase, and a few others as one of the more widely used banks around America.
The online account says.Your account has exceeded the total number of transactions available with Online Banking. So now I cant see the activity in my account what do I do. I do hundreds of transfers a day with e trade and now this is what happened.

I got a student bank account a while back and back then they asked me if it was ok if my mom could see my bank statement. I thought it wouldn't be a problem but I'm 21 now and I want to buy things I don't want her to see, but I don't want to ask her to change it bc I don't want her to get suspicious or something. By the way, I work and it's my money. So my questions is how much can she see? Sometimes when I put a lot of money on my savings account she asks me why I have so little money since she can't see the savings account but she doesn't seem to know why? Does that mean that she can't see exactly how I'm spending my money?
It's not like they can login into my account or I would've change my password a long time ago. But wachovia gives her some kind of access through her account to view my account. I don't think she can see everything, but I'm not sure how much she can see. And no, I don't completely support myself but all the money in the account is mine. I have strict parents :(
If you completely support yourself now, your parents don't have any right to check on your transactions. In fact, I'd say that it's downright rude. Change the password now, and if your parents try to find out why they can't log in anymore, just tell them that it's none of their business.
So I applied for a checking acct with Wachovia bank online and I assume I was approved because I got letters in the mail with my account number etc, it says all I have to do is go make an inital deposit at our local branch and show them my photo id and whatnot. question is, when i go there and make the inital deposit will they give me starter checks that day?
make the deposit at a wachovia bank and yes they will give you a temp debit card and checks right away
My Wachovia online banking site shows both balances, but I'm confused as to which is the available balance. Which one shows the amount of money I can use without incurring an overdraft penalty?
The posted balance is what has been posted to your account...(while the bank was closed for instance, you spend $X) and it hasn't been deducted yet...usually it will the next business day.
Go according the authorized balance. That is how much you have in your account that you can spend. Just be careful if you use a bank card as credit...it may take a few days before those transactions are posted and it risks you overdrafting if you don't count them.
The Financial Brand » Update: Wells Fargo + Wachovia transition ads
Here’s the latest from Wells Fargo as they continue to rollout marketing that addresses their merger with Wachovia.
What’s interesting about the first two TV spots (“College” and “Dog Rescue”) is that they bear the Wachovia name and logo. There’s no Wells Fargo logo, only a line that says, “A Wells Fargo Company.”
