Td Online Banking

I forgot my password to my TD online banking account so I was putting some of my passwords in and then it said it was locked because I put too many wrong passwords in. It shows a number I can call but I hate waiting on hold with these people. Will the lock go away after like 24 hours or something?

there is usually time limit but you may have to call since it is a bank account.

I wanna put some money in my brothers account.. we both bank at td and both use the same bank. However he is away right now, I wondered if I could go online and put some money in his account using tdcanadatrust.ca .. but i hate their site and i can't find how i can do it.. i do online banking but just can't figure out whether i can send him money over the net. if anyone knows how could they let me know? thanx

You won't be able to transfer the money using the banks on-line banking. There are 2 ways to do this:

1. By wire transfer but wouldn't recommend this due to there is a fee and you bank at the same bank.

2. You can go to the bank with a withdrawal ticket, and ask the teller to deposit the money into your brothers account and give the teller the name, but if you have his account number just give them that, that is going to be the easiest way.

i was locked out because i couldn't remember the answer to my security question, seeing as i set it up so long ago and it had never asked me about it before. it gave me a number to call but what are they going to ask me?

the same information you gave them when you opened the account.
Think about it, how are they going to know it's you? They have to be careful, in case you are a fraud.

I am looking for a company like e-trade or TD Ameritrade that allows customers online banking including savings and checking accounts?

Most major US banks will have brokerage and bank services.

HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo and Bank of America all provide online banking (checking, savings, etc)as well as separate (non-FDIC insured) brokerage services through their broker-dealer.
