I'm running out of checks and I would like to have design on my checks. The ones from banks e.g. BA/WAMU are ugly, limited design of checks, and once again very ugly.
I have used Current and ordered checks through them several times. You can also go on line to order. You will need to send them a voided deposit slip and your next check number. They are also much cheaper than ordering through your bank.

I ordered checks through my bank and they got lost. I spoke to an account personal manager at my bank and she suggested using an outside company. I was assured the checks would be acceptable as long as the company used was reputable. Thank you. Joyce
I used Current before and it is safe. Never had any problem with it and it is acceptable all over.
I have a basic checking account with Ocean National Bank. I use ebanking with them and I was wondering if I could order checks online and how I would do that.

Quote your account number and your requirement of cheque book facility and online request them. Of course, you will have a reply online. And you will receive the parcel of cheque books to your address. So, clearly mention your mailing address while you make the online transactioin with the Ocean Nation Bank for ordering the cheque book for your use.
I'm on the washington mutual website and I can't find where you reorder checks through their website. I went to FAQ and it says of course you can, but offers no information as to where you would do so.
well, i wrote the help desk and they got back to me that you have go into your checking acct file and on the left hand side there's an "order checks" link. it worked, but it said it was charging me $20 and never said anything about reimbursing me, so i decided to go with an outside company, got 2 boxes of pretty checks for less than $10.00. And I don't have to worry about whether that $20 will get reimbursed. $20 a box! Some nerve!!!
I'm glad you answered your own question. I don't know any banks that don't charge for checks.
I find that sometimes the telephone works better then the web sites if you want a quick answer.
I just opened a checking account with Bank of America and ordered a set of checks from the website. Anyone know about how long it takes to receive them in the mail from the day they are ordered?
i work at bank of america so i know this. we say about 2 to 3 weeks but its usually shorter. you should have it within 7 or 8 days
