Online Banking Wells Fargo

I'm going for a vacation for 1 month (outside the US).I was wandering if I can make payments (paying US credit card/utility bills), transfers etc. outside the U.S. using online banking.?? and I recently applied for credit card about 2 days ago, it havn't arrived yet. Once it arrives it will be mailed to me by my girlfriend (not yet activated) to a foreign address. is it possible do that to a foreign country?

Can you access your Wells Fargo account on line from the Internet in another country? Yes. Where ever you have a connection you can access anywhere else. That is the nature of the Internet.

Your card usually needs to be activated from the phone number you have on file. You can call them and I am sure they will ask you the usual gauntlet of questions, social security number, etc... and activate it for you.

You can use your card abroad but keep in mind you need your billing information to reflect your mailing address in the States. You won't be able to complete certain transactions automatically. Example would be buying gas in a foreign nation and the pump asks you for your zip code. It will be matching it with their own system of zip codes and not your US zip code.

You can however go into the station and handle the transaction the old fashion way. With a signature.

how do you Transfer money to your pay pal account from your wells fargo bank?

you need to do it through the Paypal site. Under the My Account tab there is a link that says Add Funds. You click on that and follow the steps. You may want to call the WF phone bank to double check on the routing number for your checking account. Sometimes the one that is on your check is different than the one you want to use for electronic transactions like this.

Not a major deal. Just make sure they numbers that are missing are listed in your register and there is a logical reason why they haven't cleared yet. They may have been mailed a longer distance, the payee may just have not cashed or deposited your check yet, etc. Just make sure you know who they are too and that they are not lost or stolen. If you feel they may be lost or stolen, contact your bank immediatley to put a stop payment on the missing checks.

i used my wells fargo checkng debit card today on a few purchases. the amount purchased was withdrawn from my account and the transaction is now pending. everytime i use my card it seems as though after the transaction has been posted it gets recharged a 2nd time after it already was charged when i bought the items....any answers???

Pending.... means they haven't finished the process of charging your account.
So a transaction can show up as pending one day and finalized the second day.
But the amount is only withdrawn once.

When in doubt... turn your debit card over and call the 1-800 number. Just stay on the line and don't answer any questions and you will be transferred to a human being.
