Hi,
I recently signed up for a new, student, checking and savings account. The bank I am with allows for completely paperless, online, tracking and transactions. Tonight I used the card several times and am able to see my available balance, but not it says my transaction history is not yet available. Shouldn't this be instant? Is online tracking reliable? Should I just use paper on my own?
Please help.
Generally, transaction history would be instant but only if your bank does that. Not all banks are current with the technology it depends on your bank. If your bank does not allow instant transaction history, then it is wise to go the old fashion route and just use paper and pen.

You can view account activity from the previous two statement cycles in addition to the current statement cycle that's in effect (which usually amounts to 3months max).
You can sign up at wachovia.com by clicking on "sign up" on the left side on their main homepage.
Have your account number, checkcard, and checkcard pin ready in order to self-enroll.

I opened up a checking and savings account today including an online banking account. I went online to check my transaction history for my checking account and it keeps saying "Transaction history for the account is not currently available. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again after 2 business day" Is this normal or should I ask the bank about this?
Yes, that is completely normal. It will take a couple of days for them to put everything into the system. It can take up to a week, but that's not likely.
Should be able to. I have Suntrust and they have my full statements from several months back. I can also do this for all of my credit cards.
Is it possible for me to delete JUST temporary internet files and history (as with prior version of IE) and NOT cookies ???
HELP !
Of course, did you actually look at the options?? You have FIVE different buttons to delete cookies, temp files, passwords, form data, history.....
And don't get scared by the "Delete..." button. When you see "..." it means there's more stuff behind....
Try it! ☺

Browser history hijack + social networks = lost anonymity :: Hack ...
Source: Arstechnica
Simply joining a few groups at social networking sites may reveal enough information for hackers to personally identify you, according to some recent computer science research. In a paper that will be presented at a security conference later this year, an international team of academics describes how they were able to build membership sets using information that social networking sites make available to the public, and then leverage an existing attack on browsing history to check for personal identity. That information, they argue, can then be combined with other data to create further security risks, such as a personalized phishing attack. The vulnerability of...
