Lloyds Internet Banking

i need to make a payment to an individual who has an account at a different bank. if i do it through the bank they said they charge a fee of 30£ but apparentrly through internet banking it's free. has anyone done this? is it ok if it's not the same bank and is it really free because the information on the bank's site doesn't say anything about charges.

I have done this lots of time and have never been charged anything. I wouldn't use it if they charged me!!!

I want to unregister from Internet Banking and go back to basics. This is so I can save more money and get rid of the temptations of being about to spend what money I have available.

bearing in mind it always works and stuff, and i logged in about an hour ago, i just logged in now and it said my account balance was not available, what does this mean??? i am expecting a bonus anytime this month is that what it could be

sometimes they do this if they think something is not right with the account, if a payment has gone out that they think is suspicious for example. You probably need to ring them up and sort it out. Other times it can just be that they are upgrading things - if you try again later it may work , if not give them a call.

it it asked me for my personnal long in details and password i then deleted it and done a avg backup and a ad aware back up and removed all my threats was it a scam and will they be able to know my details when i use the lloyds website to check my account after my back up updates?

As long as you deleted it there should have no problem. However when you get these it's always better to just forward them to your own bank's fraud department. All the banks no matter where they are from pool all their information to try and combat this problem.

I have had numerous ones from loads of different banks over the years and I just forward them straight to my bank's fraud department as soon as I get them.
