Key Bank Online Banking My Account

I have a debit Mastercard through Key Bank. I made a credit card purchase online with it about 2 weeks ago, but the money hasn't been taken from my account, and it's not in my pending transactions. But other transactions have gone through after that one. How long can it take for the account to be debited?

I don't know how long it takes. It is 7 years later and I am still waiting for an Eckerd Pharmacy transaction to post.
Just to be safe keep the money available. It will probably show up when the company you purchased from does an audit. Or it will show up when you have spent the money on something else...

I used to bank at KeyBank in Michigan. In order to use their online banking features you have to first enroll. Go to www.keybank.com, and click "Access My Accounts" in the far left corner (it should be white writing with a black background). If you know your User ID and password enter it there, if not choose "Enroll Now" on the left hand side to get the process going. Hope this helps!

My mum wants to put money from her credit card into my bank account.. is that even possible online? She seems to think so.

Yes,

it is possible if both are visa enabled, not sure about others.

I was at the bank today where my parents and I have done business for several years and had my certificate proving that I am the personal representative of my mother's estate. Her estate is not worth more than $150,000 and does not need to go to an estate tax here in Maine.

However when I approached the bank manager about questioning how to go about this I was told I "need to have a Maine Estate Tax Number which I could easily do online on the Maine government website." However when I went to that website there were no online applications for this.

I was told (and after doing quite some research tonight) that if I just brought that certificate of personal rep in that I would have control of her assets which are in about 3 accounts and equal about 30k. My plan was to close all accounts and pay off the Home Equity Line at the same bank (Key Bank) and take the rest and put it into my account or another account at the bank.

I have not found anything online indicating that I need to file (with them) an Estate Tax Number and even when I look up federally its not there and says its "not required" to file that tax. So why can't i just take her money out as the PR and redistribute the money into seperate accounts?

I was the voluntary administrator of my father's estate and 2 of his banks accepted the certificates and let me close his accounts. They had $5K and $2K in them. The third bank insisted I had to open an Estate bank account and get an Estate Tax number, even though there was only $2K in the account. All of the money went to pay his funeral bills, so there wasn't any money left to distribute. I even told them that the other banks released the money but they wouldn't budge.

My lawyer and accountant both said that usually the banks just release the money when it's such small amounts as my father's but they can legally ask for an Estate EIN. I went back to the bank and told them okay let's open an estate account but they changed their mind and gave me the money.

It sounds like you have a lot more money in your mother's estate and that there will be more money left over. You can easily file for a Federal EIN. Just make sure you keep good accounting records on all the money and how you spent it.

I signed up for a checking and savings account online with Key Bank a little over 2 weeks ago. I am trying to get away from Bank of America and their ridiculous fees, so I thought I'd try Key. I received an e-mail saying that I would be receiving my welcome package with account numbers in the mail within 7-10 days. Well, it has now been almost 18 days and I haven't received anything from them. I have sent multiple e-mails to customer service and they are no help. They just tell me the same thing over and over, which is that it will be mailed to me within 7-10 days. They don't even check the status of it for me and just send me these generic responses. It definitely should have been here by now. Has anyone else used this bank and had this problem? I am getting very turned off by this and am about ready to take my banking business elsewhere.
I just set up an account online with a credit union that is just a couple of minutes away from my house! I'm just headed over there now to sign some papers and get some starter checks. I still want to know what is going on with Key. They keep telling me that my welcome package with my account information is in the mail, but it has been 18 days and I have received nothing! What a total scam!

i was with key Bank a few times. They sell out to a Bigger bank every week. Very confusing.
