I have forgot my PIN, could i change the PIN when I log in to my Halifax online banking account?
Thank you very much.
No ,you can not change your pin on-line.You have to ring Halifax on 08457283848 then they'll send you a letter through the post.In 7 days time you'll get your new pin number.
Excuse the beard, it's what happens when i'm working loads on something. really busy :( AOTW will come today maybe later.
i put a cheque in last tuesday at about 2:30pm and on the halifax website where you can see your recent transactions it says that the cheque i put in is available today.
my available balance shows that it's not yet been cleared.
so will it clear tomorrow or later today?
thanks
it's just cleared.
look out clothes shops, here i come (:
It clears at 9am now - so if you have a direct debit or standing order due out on the same day - say hello to bank charges.
They've recently changed this - the cheeky beggars.
Happy shopping.

Hi i have just done online banking i have it with another bank and what i would like to know is how do i view my account details like what has just gone out all i can see is the balance at the moment how do i get a list of debits that has just come out many thanks in advance
Agree with Dan, but if you've only just set up and added the account, it may take a little while to work - log out, have a cup of tea and try again.
Once you've clicked on the account, use the left hand side menu to see all the options (such as setting direct debits, view statements, recent transactions, transfer money...) - it's quite good once it's fully set up.
