I used my credit card for a purchase the wednesday after last and it has yet to show up in the transactions list on my online banking. Everything else is there. This has not happened before. Does anyone know what is going on? Surely the charge went through because they gave me a receipt.
Sorry, the Wednesday BEFORE last. Some little nitpicks don't seem to know what I mean.
Sometimes merchants batch their credit card sales once a week. You could have walked in on the 1st day of that "cycle".
My question to you would be why a CREDIT CARD purchase would show up against your bank account when it should show up on a credit card statement.... Do you mean a DEBIT card???....

What is the ACCOUNT TYPE to be selected to register in online banking in ICICI bank for the other bank credit card payment ? What is to be selected like Saving Account/Current Account/Cash Credit/Loan Account.
You selet the type of account YOU have with ICICI. You CAN'T register in their online banking if you don't have an ICICI account. it makes no difference what accounts you have anywhere else.
For payment of any credit card dues through net banking, you must possess net banking IDs and password of both banks, which should be collected from the both of banks. Further, I would like add that using a credit card means using the purchasing power of the money and our income in advance (the money which is not earned by us) which is an imported idea and mostly from USA. That economy of USA could barely save itself from becoming bankrupt. They are quite richer than developing countries. The purchasing power of rupee is very low due to these bloody dollars only. Please throw the credit cards into dustbin after tearing it into pieces, close the account once for all, and manage with the monthly income instead of using credit cards.
I'm going for a vacation for 1 month (outside the US).I was wandering if I can make payments (paying US credit card/utility bills), transfers etc. outside the U.S. using online banking.?? and I recently applied for credit card about 2 days ago, it havn't arrived yet. Once it arrives it will be mailed to me by my girlfriend (not yet activated) to a foreign address. is it possible do that to a foreign country?
Can you access your Wells Fargo account on line from the Internet in another country? Yes. Where ever you have a connection you can access anywhere else. That is the nature of the Internet.
Your card usually needs to be activated from the phone number you have on file. You can call them and I am sure they will ask you the usual gauntlet of questions, social security number, etc... and activate it for you.
You can use your card abroad but keep in mind you need your billing information to reflect your mailing address in the States. You won't be able to complete certain transactions automatically. Example would be buying gas in a foreign nation and the pump asks you for your zip code. It will be matching it with their own system of zip codes and not your US zip code.
You can however go into the station and handle the transaction the old fashion way. With a signature.

Managing Your Business Credit Cards Online | Your Debt Threat
British business has changed in the last few years, becoming part of the online revolution and the advent of E-business and Internet financial management. The high street has been the real victim in this groundshift towards more virtual business and despite the continuing worry about recession, financial downturns and the ongoing ‘credit crunch’ businesses have seen their markets expand globally, thanks to the relentless march of cyberspace. Banking hasn’t been left behind either, and it’s now rare to find any financial institution that doesn’t offer an online banking service. This can only be of benefit, both to customers and to businesses alike.
