How do i set up a Student Checking account online for a 16 year old with Bank of America?

Im the 16 year old wanting to set one up. I have all my information and a parent to be a co applicant or whatever, but i dont know which type of checking account is available for a 16 year old. I want no monthly minimum, and a check card. Bank of America has always been my prefered bank, so id like to stick with it. 10 points for thr right link...

Just sign up for a campus edge checking account, and have your parent as the co-applicant. If that doesn't work, you will just have to go into the bank branch and open an account that way (make sure your parent is with you). Also, your parent has to have an account with BofA.

You could also have your parent open an account, and add you as an authorized user, so you will get a check card, and have access to the funds.

I was checking my online banking account with bank of america and saw this?

BOFA CHARLOTTE DES:PAYMENT ID:000051244185601 INDN:Promotional Bonus CO ID:3941

what does that mean
a deposit but from who

It was a deposit directly from Bank of America, which is headquartered in Charlotte NC. BofA has several bonuses you could have been receiving. For example, Keep the Change bonus goes into your account at the one year anniversary of you starting it. Or Refer-a-friend bonus goes in after the friend has the account open for 90 days. Several other accounts have bonuses paid to you after they have been open for six months. If the payment was $25 I'd say it was refer-a-friend, if it was paid into your savings account I'd say it was Keep the Change. But there are more promotions that take 3-6 months to apply to your account, maybe you just forgot about it. At least it was a payment to you!

Bank of America Completes Over 12700 Home Affordable Modification ...

Since the beginning of 2008, Bank of America has helped provide nearly 700,000 Americans with a loan modification under the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP).
