It was a deposit directly from Bank of America, which is headquartered in Charlotte NC. BofA has several bonuses you could have been receiving. For example, Keep the Change bonus goes into your account at the one year anniversary of you starting it. Or Refer-a-friend bonus goes in after the friend has the account open for 90 days. Several other accounts have bonuses paid to you after they have been open for six months. If the payment was $25 I'd say it was refer-a-friend, if it was paid into your savings account I'd say it was Keep the Change. But there are more promotions that take 3-6 months to apply to your account, maybe you just forgot about it. At least it was a payment to you!

Hello, I am 15 years of age and currently have a checking account with Bank Of America. I was wondering if there was any way i can close it online instead of going to one of its branches because where i live there are always really crowded and a hasstle. I am a minor and I was wondering if I could have my own online banking account for just my account. When I had bought something or need to know what my account balance is, I would ask my parents to check it using their online account. My checking account is tied to my parents because I am a minor, but is it possible for me to have my own online banking account so that I can check my balance and spendings by myself, without having my parent check it using their online banking account and without having any control or seeing their own accounts?
If you have a social security number, i think you can have your own account. Contracts with minors are voidable by the minor. That means that you can change your mind at any time ... which scares a bank. Go in and don't tell them your age and see if you can open an account. /

~~You can go to www.bankofamerica.com and access the online banking. Your mom will have to give you her online I.D. and password. Then you can go in and access the information.
I signed in the online banking site for bank of america as usual, since I opened my account with them and just now I saw that neither my checking account or my billpay section is available, WHY?
you have to go to the bank and sign up to make it show up online. i had the same problem but with my saving account. when i checked online it only showed my checking account. so i had to go to the bank and they fixed it so it showed both
