Assuming you already have told the bank to link both accounts together so you can do this. If not, you need to tell them to link your savings and checking.

1. log into your accounts
2.at the top of the accounts page, click on the PAYMENTS AND TRANSFERS tab
3.Next screen-see three tabs--click on ACCOUNT TRANSFERS
4. Next click on SCHEDULE A TRANSFER
5. The screen will say "Transfer Money"--about half way down "from accounts" (choose savings) and to account (choose checking account)
6. Next screen:choose the date, and amount you want to transfer, and hit NEXT
7. Then finish up

My due date for payment is Feb/15th (today).
However, on the website it says: "Payment is due on or around Feb/15th"
Also, I remember reading that payment due dates recently had their grace periods expanded? Is this true?

I think you misunderstood. The Grace Period has not been extended, but the Creditors will soon be required by law to send paper bills one week sooner than they currently do.

Based on my experience with Chase, the Due Date is the Due Date! If you pay ONE day beyond Feb 15 they will slap you with a late payment fee immediately!

Amazingly, the answer is You Can't. I called customer service with the same question. I transfer funds between two small local banks in different states, no problem. Yet the nation's 2nd largest bank with locations in 48 states does not provide this service. Instead you must visit a branch and pay for wire-transfer. I opened my account with the intent of funding one of my others, but now intend to close it and change banks.

So i sorta borrowed my dads debit card to make a small purchase. He uses chase and often checks his account activity online. I have access to his online account but when i go and check the activity i cant seem to find a way to delete my specific purchase from the list.

So anyone that uses only chase account know how to delete a specific purchase of the list?

No you can't. How do you sorta borrow? Maybe you should return the purchase & hope your dad will consider that your attempt at atonement. You are so busted & I hope he takes proper action. You do realize he could report this crime, don't you? Hope you have a good relationship with him.

I currently bank at Fifth Third and am SO fed up with not seeing my deposits post for days.
Two weeks ago I overdrew for the first time in my life. And three days before that, on a Tuesday before 10am, I made a $2000 deposit. This makes my blood boil. Of course, they didn't charge me a penalty, but I'm still so mad- if I had bounced a check or been declined at a store I would have been furious, to me that is embarassing.
It's impossible for me to know how much money I have or get caught up with my check register when their online posting is so poor. I hate to rely on technology but if it worked correctly, it would make everything easier.
Chase Bank is the most convenient for me to switch to, but I need to know how they compare in this aspect before I make the change.

when u make a deposit it shows up online almost immidiately
but when you make a withdrawal it could take 1-3 days and they dont provide free checking ....without direct deposit .
But,
they are nice enough to reverse your overdraft fees if you have any and call them with a nice story .
i've been with them for years so i guess im content with them .
