Check your statement and make sure your account number is the same as on your card. Also check the back of the card for the correct website.

Any body have an online banking account with capital one and can give me some input? any problems with them, easy to withdraw?. I am hesitant about putting money in a online account, what caught my eye was the interest rate. Basically are they safe and say what they say they are. Anybody have any feedback would be great.
Thanks
is capital one considered a major bank?
Online banking at any major bank is safe, provided your computer is safe. The website is secure, but that doesn't mean that someone can't hack into your computer using key loggers, spyware, or other crap and steal your account info. Make sure you have a good firewall installed and a good anti-virus program that scans for all types of malicious software (virus, spyware, adware, trojans, key loggers, etc). Make sure you keep the program up to date and run it at least every week.
Also, don't use public wifi networks for online banking. If possible, use a hard line connection at home. If you do have a wireless network at home, make sure its encrypted and secured. Don't do banking in public (at the library, or on your laptop anywhere in public) because people could pick up pieces of personal info by glancing at your screen or watching what you type.

I'd like to know. Does Capital One Online Banking is free?
I heard that Capital One Online Banking charge money for
transactions if you are having more then five transactions a day. Is that true and what does transactions means?
Does it means purchases that I made or It means payment for credit card bill?
Thank you for help!
On Capital One Online Banking you have to have a checking account to make your payments. It's not set up to to a credit card transaction. Only way you could do that would be to call them and process the card transaction with a customer service rep. I have there credit card and I am not limited to any transactions. Some credit cards limit the amount of payments you make per day. Good Luck!
Somebody knows how much Captial One credit card charges you for using Online Banking??? I think is not free. Thanks for the help.
Good news it is free, But it depends over usage too, like if you are having five transactions a day, that'll cost you 5 USD
Pay my balance online for capital one I am on the online banking they did take the 10 dollars that I used for gas couple days ago but still cant see it like it hasnt gone through yet do I have to wait till it actualy post completely?
If you want to make a payment, then yes you can do it online.
However if your card has a zero balance, then you must wait for the $10 to post.
Through the Eyes of a Teen: Activating a Credit Card and Signing ...
Recently, my college-aged son signed up for his first credit card . He chose Capital One not because of their long history as a card issuer or their flashy TV ads, or even their state-of-the-art website. No, he went with Cap One for the same reason tens of millions before him have; he received a simple preapproved direct mail offer at just the right time.
It's enlightening to see the process through the eyes of a credit newcomer. Even though he understands credit cards intellectually and has used debit/prepaid cards for years, there were still a number of things that were less than obvious to him as he went about activating the card over the phone, using it for the first time, signing up for online banking, and paying his first monthly bill. For example:
