Depending on your credit, it shouldnt cost you anything to get a credit card. Just go online to any website (google) and type in "apply for credit card" you should get numerous web sites for different credit card companies. or if you really want a mastercard, just type in mastercard. But remember, visa, mastercard, are the same..just make sure you find a card that's right for YOU, not only what kind it is. If you apply and are instantly approved, then great! they'll send you info and your card in a couple weeks. You can always apply and instead of the internet, call the 800 number so you can speak with somebody and they can be more helpful with your questions. If there is a payment for a credit card (start up fee, activation fee, or whatever) that all doesnt start until you USE the card. By calling to activate the card once you receive the card, means you'll pay those charges. It'll be on your statement and you can usually do it on the internet, over the phone, or send in a payment.
I think to open an account with canara bank it costs rs.500 and they will give atm cum debit card. But my question is can i use that atm/debit card to purchase online and use on paypal. If not which bank allows this. But i cant get a credit card. I not having more than rs.1000 to create account at any other bank. Thanks in advance.

the manager of canara bank vaniyambadi drag loans to SSI and educational loans for a simple reason that the bank has become online and he is likely religuishe form the post soon and insists private finance.Dost it happen any other bank.The management of the bank should take suitable action against him.
Simply because the branch has become online and unable to process since 2 months.I have morgaged my property as security too. Can any of the official concerned endorse his claim as fact.

Canara bank is one of the reputed bank and all rules and regulations are on paper and transparent.
