You can't.
Since you're already a customer at TD, go to a TD branch and ask them to open a TD Waterhouse account for you.
TD Waterhouse is the brokerage unit of TD.
However, commission is still important. Three months ago, I heard BMO is offering free trading for three months for new customers signing up with $100,000 or more, so you might want to check them out.

Shoppers Drug Mart carries the Vanilla Master Cards. They come in $25, $50 and $100 cards.
Can't remember the exact fee but I think it's $3.00 when you buy one.

I'm signing up for a PayPal account and I need to enter my Bank Transit Number, Institution Number and Account Number, but I don't have any cheques with me.
I use TD Canada Trust, which has online banking. I have my bank card with me, so if I can find these numbers using my online bank account, and bank card, that would be great.
Most online banking sites have that information tied to your account.
Just log on to your account and search under banking or account information. If you can view your bank statements online, your bank transit number may be printed on the statement as well..
If you can't log on to your account, your bank card should have a customer service phone # on it..Just give them a call and ask the service rep for the transit number.

With CIBC releasing an amazing iPhone app, this just seems like an attempt to have something out there, despite the fact that it's pretty much useless. My wife has an iPhone and I probably wouldn't suggest she download this. I would love to see TD step up their game and release an app (for iPhone AND Android) where you can actually do banking. I'm sure BlackBerry users wouldn't mind an app either.
