Bpi Online Banking

There is an option in Paypal wherein I can include my Bank Accounts.
I have a BPI savings account and I want to use it to buy things online using my bank account.. Is that allowed? I'm from the Philippines.

its allowed in the US
in the US they want the routing number and bank account
then they deposit two small amounts to the bank account
now I'm not sure if thats the same process in the philippines

I need to open a savings account and the website of the Bank of the Philippine Islands is not very helpful. i have to open one online but i also need to know what specific stuff i have to fill in. I dont have an existing BPI account.

I visited a branch and the lady told me i could get an account online because the BPInoy account dint need any maintaining balance or initial deposit. She also said to just pick up my card the next week. thing is, their site is confusing.

to open an account, you will have to go to a BPI branch to complete any account opening... so you might as well drop by a BPI branch which can be found almost anywhere. Drop by any branch and look for the New Accounts division, if not, you can ask any of the employees (wearing a uniform or with an identification card) because all personnel are usually trained about the products available and they can help you with whatever product you are interested in.

For a personal account, you will need to bring at least 2 valid ID's and a proof of billing for them to confirm your address... its been over 3 years since i last worked there but i think you should have at least 5 thousand for a savings account, and 10 thousand for a checking account... you can also go to their website at http://www.bpi.com.ph/ OR https://www.bpiexpressonline.com/

in applying for US tourist visa, what needs to be done step by step? is it - first,secure visa form from the bank (bpi or citibank?), second, fill up DS 156 online, third, call US Embassy for interview schedule...or fill up DS 156 online, secure visa form, then call for interview..or call for interview, secure visa form, then fill up online..thanks

Hi!

I’m from the Philippines who is buying some books from an online US Seller. The method of payment is international money order. Unfortunately, international money orders are no longer available in post offices here in my country. I learned that international money orders could be purchased in banks so I tried in the Bank of the Philippine Islands. They suggested Demand Draft instead, which they claimed to be as same with international money orders.

Now, can the seller from US receive my Demand Draft as payment? Take note, the Demand Draft will be made from Bank of the Philippine Islands. Can the US seller collect it? How? Does he/she have to have an account in BPI?

I can't really offer an answer to your question but I would ask the seller if he was willing to use Paypal. It is international, easy, safe and can be used by anyone who has an account and Internet. Good luck.
