I go to log in, I put all my details in correctly, fill in the security thing and everything else (this is my account, if I was trying to hack someone and got locked out I wouldn't post this because it would basically evidence.) and I get that message saying I've been locked out. What's going on?
This happened on my first try.
No problems with my account, just now. Cannot say, without knowing precisely what you did, but usually this happens after 3 unsuccessful attempts. The only way out, is to phone them, as advised. Infuriating when it happens.
(I have an account with A&L; similar thing happened, but I could not remember my 8 digit number. Was advised to phone them. When I did, I was asked for my 8 digit number; the only way to proceed!).

Kaspersky I am downloading from Barclays online banking and Mcafee comes with my broadband. So plz help me to choose between three. Thanks in advance.
Kaspersky free if you bank online with Barclays

Norton 2009 is supposed to be very good but there's problems with customer support, see

McAfee AV isn't bad, but they have a huge credibility problem:

Kaspersky had a small scare a short while back but that was with an affiliate site.
You can check the AV capabilities at http://www.av-comparatives.org
What should clinch it though are these firewall (not AV) tests:

Norton's firewall doesn't quite make the grade, McAfee's is well below par. The Kaspersky f/w is sound.
Go for Kaspersky.
As an offer on barclays, anyone with online banking membership can get a 12 month subscription to kaspersky for FREE! (worth £50 apperently) so if you are part of barclays and you didnt know this, hop along to the barclays website and check it out. Anyway, question is, ive personally never heard of this security brand, so does anybody know if its good? and ive got nortons 360 on at moment with about 6 months left on the license, is kaspersky better? thanks
i'm using Kaspersky anti-virus and internet security for the past 3 years.
i tried so many and found this to be the best for me.
update are available daily. (if u wish monthly too)
it'll give you more control over ur system.
u can even control each every action as and when a software tries to access a registry or system file or system process.
if u are an technocrat u'll love this, else u can set the Kaspersky to decide what to do.
I bank online with Barclays, and they give you free security for 12 mths for your computer it is called Kaspersky, i have installed this on my computer and since ive done this my computer seems to be going a lot slower espesially when i first turn it on. My question is " does anyone know anything about it? is it a good security for my computer. Would you recommend it.? And could this be the reason why my coputer is going a lot slower when i turn it on. I would be gratefull for any feedback relating to it. Thanks.
Yes i would recommend Kaspersky, But if you are finding your computer is running slow (It may be doing frequent virus scans) you may want to remove it from your computer or disable some settings in Kaspersky that make it do virus scans when you're on your computer.
Barclays updates mobile banking site

Barclays have announced that their mobile banking site is undergoing another overhaul. Their aim is to refresh the site with clearer user screens, to simplify the navigation and to introduce a range of new features.
We’ve had a look at the newly customised interface specifically for mobiles, and we’re quite impressed on the focus that mobile phones are now getting for Barclay’s online banking team. Barclays have ensured that their mobile service operates over all the main platforms (Apple, HTC, Nokia, Motorolla, Blackberry), and provides the ablity for users to view balances and mini statements, make transfers between accounts, and locate branches/ATMs through a map service.
