with a connect card, its soo annoying its untrue
I have online banking with them and what gets me the most is that they usually do maintenance on a sunday night (Less disruption which I do understand) BUT on Mondays there is ALWAYS have some type of delay or problem! AHHGG. I WISH they would stop tweaking their website!
It was FINE before!
I don't want bells and whistles and I just want a basic user friendly accessible website, I couldn't give a monkeys about anything else!
The card readers you use to log on have now been picked up by other banks (I have one now for my co-op bank) so can't complain on that one as it's inevitable really.
But I DO wish Barclays would make up their minds about what they are doing with their online banking.
I actually spoke to someone earlier today and he said more changes are coming so watch this space for more disruption!
Our host Daisy McAndrew interviews Steve Cooper, MD (Barclays Business and Personal Banking Solutions) to understand how Barclays has embraced ...

I was reading this on the Barclays site how to make money
http://www.personal.barclays.co.uk/BRC1/ jsp/brccontrol?task=articleFWgroup&v alue=9404&target=_self&site=pfs< br />
and came across this point :
8 Online surveys
To make money completing surveys, all you need is a computer and some opinions. You'll be asked what you think of various products and services, and sometimes be sent things to try out. However, there are scam survey websites so do some research.
Average pay: £3-£50 for each survey, depending on how long it takes. However, you'll have to pay a registration fee (around £20) up front.
More info: UK Paid Surveys rates and reviews the best sites.
i thne clicked on this link from barclays

i want to know whether these sites are legit considering they were from barclays a well known bank
Survey Hawk,Survey Scout, Paid online surveys
If the ones you pay for are scams, surely the free signup ones are not scams as you cannot lose anything?

Today I contacted the bank to complain that I was being charged £8.00 per transaction for items which were authorised a the time of transaction, made bout 5 of these online purchases which all went through ok, then 5 letters come through the door saying I owe £8.00 per transaction...I am told today that I have a reserve of £250.00 which I until this call knew nothing about...apparently they have sent me a letter which I did not respond to (I cant recall having this letter) and therefore they have set me up with a reserve and am now being charged...anyone else had this problem with Barclays..what do I do???
It seems you went 'Overdrawn' (i.e you have spend more money than you had in your account).
Banks LOVE people who do this .. you are lucky to only get done £8 a time, I guess because they have allowed you this 'Personal Reserve' (aka 'Authorized Overdraft') ...
You had better not spend any more and pay it off as soon as possible .. you going to be charged Interest at some horrendous rate and if/when that pushes you over the £250 limit they will start calling it an 'Unauthorized Overdraft' and (last I heard) start charging you £35 a time ..
