Hi does anyone know when barclays update there internet banking.
For example: if a cheque was supposed to clear tomorrow would it show on the internet banking at 12am tonight or like 6am tomorrow, or even at the start of business tomorrow???

Hi i put a bank draft into my barclays bank account on wednesday 4th march 2009 at about 12:30pm,
The woman said at the counter that it would go into my account by tomorrow (thursday 5th march), now i know she didnt mean that it wouldnt clear by tomorrow (thursday 5th march) as i think what she meant was it would show that i put into my account tomorrow (thursday 5th march),, but i have been on my internet banking today (Friday 6th March) and it isnt showing anything, Not even that i put in on wednesday.
So can anyone tell me why it isnt showing on my internet banking please??? and what you think i should do,

It was announced today that Barclays Bank has made a profit over the last year of £7 billion!
Given that this bank has a record of offering very low rates of interest on its current accounts and hits its customers hard with extremely punitive charges I would like to ask any customers of this bank why they continue to use it?
Is it because they feel safer storing their money in a well established bank as opposed to one of the newer internet banks, or is it just because they are too lazy to move their money elsewhere?
I stoozed £1k into their current account for a £400 free od, free travel insurance, and a free Villa shirt! It was an offer for the first year, closed the a/c when the offer was up!
When they muck up their offers like that, hammer them for all they're worth. I like Barclays for that...
I bank at barclays uk and I do internet banking. I recieve EMA from college every week. Last night I had £2.76 and they put £30 in today, it said Balance: 32.76 but now it says cleared balance 30.76, I havent spent any money, Im not bothered about 2 pound but Im wondering has someone hacked my account and taken 2 pound last night?
Do you have a direct debit or standing order that is due to be paid in the next few days, if so they may have reduced your available balance by that amount.
I don't think anyone would bother to hack into your account and just steal £2.
Barclays Bank's Call Centre and CCK's Internet Price Cap Study ...
This past week, Barclays Bank Kenya (BBK) launched its call centre which will serve customers throughout Kenya everyday of the week, twenty four hours a day. The move is designed to give BBK customers services around the clock. As one of Kenya’s largest and most successful banks, BBK clearly wants to differentiate itself from the competition by always being available to them, atleast on phone. This move follows BBK’s launch of mobile banking with their Hello Money service as well as more recently Internet banking.
In other (possibly?) controversial news this past week, the Communications Commission of Kenya (CCK) announced that it has launched an Internet pricing cap study that will be released in March 2010. The study has been initiated to establish the true costs of delivering Internet bandwidth to Internet users in Kenya by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) community. The move has already met with fierce resistance from the ISPs since they say price caps could seriously harm the viability of their businesses.
