Banking Online Services Wachovia

When will Quicken or MS Money integrate with Bank of America or Wachovia online services?

Am I the only one asking this question?
Why hasn't Intuit Quicken or MS Money integrated with online banking - Wachovia, Bank of America, others?
I access my bank service 4 times a week. It would be nice if they integrated the many features currently obtained from Quicken or Money such as budgeting and money management into the banks online portal. How come no partnerships have materialized?
I am aware that both Quicken and Money allow you to download bank data to each respective program (ala "integrated").
However the ideal situation would be the following:
I don't have to purchase Quicken or Money.
I access my bank online and their online banking portal has been improved with many of the key features typically found in personal finance applications (Quicken or Money). When will the major banks wise up and realize the benefits from this level of integration/partnership?

They both DO integrate with MANY major and several not so major bank on-line services. To the extent they don't, it is usually because the BANK will not allow it or has changed their site and it is hard to keep up.

Anyone else having issues with making online payments with your Wachovia Account? ?

3 out of 4 of my utility services have rejected my bank information.

sounds like your utilities, not wachovia. check with them to determine that you can make a payment using your checking account. if they don't accept wachovia, there are few banks they will accept.

Wachovia bank teller position.?

I filled out an application for Wachovia online and was invited to do the assessment, two days later I received an e-mail saying I was invited to an interview. They also gave me a "dress code" paper to sign and some facts about Wachovia and bank tellers there, in general.

Do they usually call people out for interviews, is that almost a defnite foot in the door? Also, what should I stress at the interview so I can get the job. I don't have any bank experience but I have receptionist and customer service experience.

Thanks for any of your input :)

An interview doesn't guarantee a job, but it is a good indicator. Having you sign anything sounds very promising, even if it is just dress code.

Banks in general are looking more for people they can promote, these days. So you might be smart to think career & reflect that in your answers. Right now you are focusing on just getting a job -- but they are looking for someone that can grow in the corporation. Your customer contact experience is important. They might want to hear that you plan to pursue a degree (if you don't already have one), since you would need that to be promotable.

I received some other Wachovia customers account number, Debit card number, name and phone number?

I received some other Wachovia customer's account number, Debit card number, name and phone number via home banking messages on my wachovia home banking messages.

I contacted them and they were not willing to accept the screw up. I asked to keep a copy and they did not mind about it. I closed all my accounts and they wanted to charge me fee for closing my CD with them and as soon as we started yelling everything was waived.

We informed them that we have bill pay setup and they are like your account is closed so nothing will be payed. We opened account with Bank of America and paid two bill pay through that account. Then we got email notification from our bill pay that they received the payment from wachovia as well and the check was returned as account closed. They are going to charge us the fee.

We had to call online banking and they said you should not have listened to the customer service rep. Then finally they cancelled the recurring and other bill pay and asked us to call check free to see what can be done to the paymens which have been already returned.

What can i do?
Can i go somewhere and leak this information which would create a significant impact on Wachovia's name. This is ridiculous. We are also trying to contact the person whose name, number and account number we have received to ask him to close his account as well.

Thanks

contact the security exchange commission.

Wachovia reported my name to Early Warning Services for suspected fraud.?

I applied for an account there in Jan of 2008, and when I applied online for some reason I accidentally switched two number of my social security number. I did not even notice, and the bank contacted me the next day to tell me that my account was closed for using false information. We figured out the problem, but they still had to close the account and she said I could re-apply. I decided no to, and went into a Bank of America branch instead to open an account. For some reason last month Bank of America did a random check on my account and told me my name was on EWS and they were closing my account. Wachovia reported me for identity theft and suspected fraud! I am so freaked out, it was an accident, and I thought we had worked out the problem. Am I in big trouble?

Mistakes do happen when filling out applications. You should contact Wachovia explain the situation and have them remove your name from EWS.
