Which is Bank is the best Bank?

I want to open a personal checking and savings account...Which one of all the popular banks out there is the best one for this? and why?
Bank of America? WaMu? Citibank? Suntrust? Wachovia? Chase?
Help please! I don't want to screw this up!
Please share good or bad experiences with costumer service (if you want).
Best credit cards? Best savings plan? Most amount of locations? Benefits? Best online banking website? e.t.c
Thank you in advance!

I have banked at Wamu, Key Bank, and Wellsfargo. I have found that Wellsfargo and Key Bank have high fees for their savings and checking accounts unless you have very high balances, which I don't. I do like Wellsfargo for my student loans, car loan and line of credit though.

I really like Wamu I have a checking account their that they charge no fees for whatsoever they also give you free checks for life. (Key charged me $25!!!) My savings account also has no fees and has a amazing rate of 3.75%. They give you 1 free overdraft a year incase of an oops and $.04 back at the end of the year for every debit or credit transaction you make. I made like $32 this year.

I love Wamu!

Wachovia Online Banking

Ruden McClosky Continues to Insist Everything is Fine

We checked in on the Florida firm Ruden McClosky earlier this month because multiple sources told us the firm was on the verge of dissolving after losing about 50 partners over the past year and two full offices to Adams and Reese in the early weeks of 2010. A Ruden spokesperson and the firm's managing partner, Carl Schuster, repeatedly insisted to us that the firm was fine , and that it would continue to hire qualified laterals.

Two weeks later, the Daily Business Review, our sibling publication based in Miami, has an update on the state of the firm , and the news is not good. Several sources tell the paper that other firms are circling around Ruden's Orlando and West Palm Beach offices, and that more partners are considering a move after firm management asked them to sign personal guarantees to secure the firm's credit line with Wachovia--a move the bank apparently required to keep the credit line active after it expired at the end of 2009, the paper says. The request represented "the last straw" for some partners, the paper reports.

Choicehow | Personal Finance: About Wachovia and Bank of America ...

Having enough funds wedged into your Wachovia or Bank of America checking account allows you to manage your day-to-day activities without encountering so many difficulties. Joining the U.S. stock market won't become a big headache for you if you are customer of BofA and have established the right financial accounts with the bank. To be very fair, it's entirely important to open the right checking accounts when planning to establish an excellent wealth-building plan which doesn't drive the accumulation of substantial net assets in the wrong direction. Increasing your net worth will become...
