Banking Finance Degree Online

I would probably do a search on google or yahoo for an accounting or finance program for the specific level of degree you are looking for (bachelors, masters, etc.). Also there are a number of sites out there that are designed to help you find online degree programs that match your specific needs.

I currently attend University of Phoenix Online, I have a 3.8 GPA, and I have tons of Finance, Marketing and Sales experience. I have worked in Banking for 11 years and Intend on pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing. Then Completing either an MBA or Law School. I will have 72 credit hours at the end of the summer term and wanted to transfer to UC Berkeley. What do you think my chanced are?

Okay I'm in the military. Was stationed in germany for 4 yrs. Now I'm back in the states. My wife is from germany and I'm supposed to be getting out this year. Really lost in what to do. I have a car payment and really want to go to college now. Wife is still in germany finishing school and I'm stuck between getting out and going to college on the GI bill which will pay for my apartment plus school. But that wont cover the car payment and other expenses so I'll need a part time job. Or I can stay in for a few more years, go to college online and risk getting deployed back to iraq and being away from my wife yet again. We've been together for about 3 1/2 yrs. 12 months apart for iraq and 10 months apart as of now. So what would you do? I also have to think about when i'm outta the military. I will need a career that I can do both in the states and germany. Would go for my BA degree in Business Admin which has topics like finance and budget analysis and then look for a job on post at a bank or in finance which they always have available and while i'm working then I could get my teaching degree online. Or I could just re enlist go to germany and get my degree online. Hmm....any suggestions?

If this were my decision to make I'd stay in and do my degree online. There is really nothing out here in the civilian world for anyone right now. In a couple of years things may be rosier, but now is just a hard time. The risk of Iraq may not be so bad now that we are poised to pull out, but Afghanistan could be looming in the future. Still the military may be the best place in terms of having an income.

I am in the process of registering to go back to college. Undergrad program for B.S. in Business Administration or Business Finance. I am in the banking field and I want to attain a degree so that I can move up the ladder with no problem. I have 2 years of experience under my belt now and I would like to attend an on-line program as I have a baby at home. I've heard of DIPLOMA MILLS (where you don't have to do any work) & they give you a FAKE diploma.... So, which ONLINE degree programs are LEGITE???????

A legitimate college or university will be accredited by the same accreditors that identify regular schools. Most will also offer live in person classes too. Your best ones tend to be combo courses which has you do most of your classes online but the final semester must be in person or has an internship or some practical experience. Of course, the easiest way to tell you are dealing w/a diploma mill is if the "college" asks you for $$ and they just send you a degree with no work involved.

At the undergraduate level, though, you are better off starting at your local community college. They may not offer all the courses you need online but at least a bulk of them you can start off online for basics that will transfer to other colleges. Plus you will have a counselor (they can also help via phone) who can advise you which courses will transfer to universities in your state.

Once you get more experience with college, talk to the counselor who can tell you what other online classes from other colleges will transfer to your initial associates or into the bachelors program you ultimately want to get into.

Online courses can be tougher because they require quite a bit of discipline but more and more people are doing it and you can too.

they asked for no bank acct number or ssn just for me to send western union 1,000.00 for courier service . i know its a scam no matter how authentic it looks but many people wont and just send money......it comes from the uk and they even send a phone number and adress.where do i go from here..
