I can't log in to CIBC online banking. After I put my card no. and pw, it showed an error message, saying they can't validate my card no. and password, with 'Result #U143' after the message (I think it's some sort of error code?). I am now outside of Canada and I can't reach them. I need to arrange my money transfer for my school fee ASAP or I'll miss the deadline. How can I solve it?? Thanks a lot.
call your school to explain the situation to them and ask for a couple day extention... call the bank ASAP in the morning to get everything figured out.. if you have a debit card or credit card with that bank info.. you can call the number on the back as they have 24 hour customer service to see if there is a problem with the card itself..
you could also call the school and put the payment on your debit card?

I am trying to register for a CIBC online banking account. I'm fourteen (if that makes a difference), and my dad has an account too (if that makes a difference as well?) and when i try to register it tells me :
You have entered incorrect information. Please check your Caps Lock key and try again.
{Result #B100}
and i haven't even registered yet... why won't it let me? All of the info is correct, I have the sheet in front of me.
Is your Caps Lock key on? I bank online with CIBC, if all your info is correct I'm not sure why you can't register. Double check your Caps Lock key.
I misplaced my card and i need the number that's engraved in front of it so that i can access my online account. Is there anyway i could get that? I know the password and the pincode and all.
Visiting the bank isn't an option since I'm nowhere near its location/
The website for the online banking is http://www.cibc.com/ca/personal.html
You are going to have to ask the bank to replace the card... They arent going to give you these numbers over the phone.....
looking to find the correct web site to directly log into my canadian cibc on line banking.
Click on the link below.
It would be alot easier if I could register myself online instead of going into the actual bank. Can I do this? If so, where?
You can apply by phone, but you will probably have to visit a branch to sign your signature card. Check the link below.
Good luck!
CIBC Introduces an iPhone Banking App | Sync Blog
Banks may be seen as bureaucratic and slow-moving, but on the technology front, many were quick to adopt automation and other methods to reduce labour costs and improve efficiency.
ATMs made their first appearance more than 40 years ago and now have proliferated to every other street corner, gas station and grocery store.
Some financial institutions such as President’s Choice Financial (backed by CIBC) are even branch-less, offering all their services online, through the phone or at an automated banking machine.
ATMs have been around for over 40 years with the first machine making its appearance in 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Consumers now have a plethora of ways doing their banking.
