I can't log in to CIBC online banking. After I put my card no. and pw, it showed an error message, saying they can't validate my card no. and password, with 'Result #U143' after the message (I think it's some sort of error code?). I am now outside of Canada and I can't reach them. I need to arrange my money transfer for my school fee ASAP or I'll miss the deadline. How can I solve it?? Thanks a lot.
call your school to explain the situation to them and ask for a couple day extention... call the bank ASAP in the morning to get everything figured out.. if you have a debit card or credit card with that bank info.. you can call the number on the back as they have 24 hour customer service to see if there is a problem with the card itself..
you could also call the school and put the payment on your debit card?

A growing number of investors have turned to their computers and online brokers for cheaper, more efficient handling of their portfolios. Will the smartphone be next in their arsenal of investment tools? Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce made a splash recently when it claimed to be the first major Canadian bank to offer a mobile banking application for Apple’s iPhone. The app lets customers check account balances, transfer funds, pay bills and arrange money transfers. The app also uses the iPhone’s GPS technology to locate nearby branches or banking machines.
Critics sniff that CIBC should first have chosen an application for the Canadian-developed Black- Berry, but it’s clear that’s only a matter of time — as is the entry into mobile banking by CIBC’s competitors.
