Banking And Finance On The Internet

I don't do any gaming or high end graphics. Just surfing on the net, DVD/CD burning/ripping, downloading audio and video, and internet shopping/banking/finance.

I'm planning on getting the following:

For about $800.

It sounds like a good deal and a good system.

Only thing I'm not sure on is if I need more RAM, and is my DVD/CD setup and software any good?

Yes, this would be a good overall system for you. One thing I can tell you is that you absolutely do not need more RAM. RAM's main purpose is to allocate memory not on the hard drive, in order for you to run multiple programs faster. Basically, the more RAM you have, the more you can multitask. A high end gamer or graphics developer (such as myself) has 6GB of RAM. Since you are not gaming or developing, 4 is more than enough.

The 16X DVD drive is standard. It will suit your purposes just fine. I would find a different CD/DVD creator though. Personally, I can't stand Roxio's products, and find Toast easier to use. Again, just an opinion. Bottom line, Dell makes great personal computers and come with a decent warranty. Good luck with your purchase.

I couldn't get to my Yahoo e-mail when I clicked on today even after changing my password. All other options work for instance: Finances, Facebook, Personals etc. When I click on Yahoo Mail I keep getting a blank page. What it the problem? Need help urgently. I do Internet banking on Yahoo.

Yahoo has been upgrading the servers and had some problems, they said it should be resolved soon. I just started a new internet business and I have no money to start a bank account in order to collect my new businesses funds. I have not yet posted any method of payment onto my new site because I am required to have a bank account in order to have a place for my finance collector to deposit the business funds. I have searched the internet without any luck. Because I have a physical disability and want to work I have to work from my fully set up home office. I am a retired Bank Manager with extensive experience in banking and finance and have been working with MYOB Accounting Plus for >10 years. I have 8 clients, 5 of which aren't cost effective as they are love jobs. I would like to quit theses 5 and replace them with 1-2 client who can give me say 3 hours week to compliment my existing base. With current clients I have internet banking access with my own user id so I undertake the total administration for these clients. All they do is deliver paperwork once weekly which I check to I/banking and file. All clients are happy with my pricing and work performed having been doing it for several years. I've tried newspapers, noticeboards, accountants and word of mouth from existing clients.

Any ideas to obtain 1-3 clients with say 3 hours week.

She says the car's in Nevada and that I need to send it to Bank of America in Florida to some guy that's a Yahoo! agent? Deal seems too good. Says that this guy is a Yahoo! Finance cash agent. Name on the account is David Kocis.

"Buyer submits the payment selecting bank transfer service to Yahoo! Finance verified agent. Yahoo! Finance verifies the payment. The seller does not get paid until the buyer accepts the merchandise or the inspection period expires."

This is on the invoice I got for the transaction from Yahoo! Finance Transaction.

Any help on this matter?? Don't want to get scammed... Thanks again

Absolutely a scam...read all the other times people have asked this nearly identical question. Think about it...you are sending money to people you've never met for a car you've never actually seen. My guess is that the car doesn't exist. It's a complete scam.
