On holiday I bought a gift from a shop which cost £16.50, when i got home I checked my online bank account and seen that the money had been taken out twice, I called up the bank and they said as the money had already been taken out and i had to call the company, so I did that and the company checked all their records and said that they only got the payment once! What can I do now to resolve this and get my money back? Thanks
HBOS are good at this..they do it a lot..take your receipt and statement to the bank tell them you called the company only one payment was taken..the mistake is theirs..as usual and tell them you want your money back in asap..they done this to me..3 times..resulting in bank charges..i complained to anyone who would listen and got my money back...good luck
