Bank Of India Internet Banking

I dont have any DEMAT account now. Can I still invest in other companies shares or mutual funds using my SBI internet banking account.Does Canara bank have internet banking or demat account facility?

I dont know about Canara Bank. But I think you can invest in all Mutual Funds using your SBI INternet Banking Account.

Availing Internet banking and mobile banking on State Bank of India's account is chargable?

In net banking and phone banking some facilities are free and some are chargeble. ie paying insurance premium, fund transfered to brokers , credit card payment of same bank, account balance query are free of cost. you have to take xtra facility of third party transfers to make payment to others this is chargeable. you can start your net banking it is free. after that the services which are chargeable is your choice to use it or not.

By applying at the home branch for Internet Banking, SBI instantly gives an envelope which contains Int. Banking ID & Pwd but it will be activated after 3 to 4 days.
Once activated you need to login to onlinesbi.com site there on the right side you will find Personal Banking button which should be clicked. In that page u need to enter the given ID & PWD and then should define your own new Username, Password & a Profile password for making NEFTtransfers.
Using this IB facility you can go thru the present & past stmts,
Can transfer amts between your own A/Cs or other's A/C's can make bill pymnts of diff. billers and can even make Tax pymnts.

I have SBI(State Bank of India) internet banking option for my account.
Is it possible me to transfer money from my SBI account to my brother's HDFC account ?
If possible means,Will the charge any amount for transfer ?

Yes, It is possible to transfer money online from each bank which has facility for netbanking.

For online money transfer you require, registration for that. For registration download form online, Fill it and submit to your SBI branch. Within 2 weeks you will be receive the used id and password for it. Go to onlinesbi.com and use it for your account.

Go for registration of your brother's account number with your account. After sucessful registration, you can transfer money online at any time on any day.

There is no charge for transfer money from SBI to any bank.
