Are there any Bank of America locations in Hawaii at all? I have checked online.?

According to the Bank of America website, they have ATM's in all states except Vermont, West Virginia, North Dakota, and Hawaii. So the answer to your question is no.

Using my friends credit card to shop online?

plain and simple question: I have cash. I want to use my friends credit card to buy "something" online. I don't want my friend to know what it is.(kinda embarassing). and YES my friend will know that i have the credit card. Is there a way i can use her card without her knowing the item i bought and just the amount? will she get the receipt or report on her bank statement? by the way her bank is Bank of Hawaii. thanks in advance. pls no stupid answers. thanks
so overall, she won't know right a way what was purchased, she's not a nosy friend but im just curious if the name of the item will show in any way on any of either her bank statement or watever. thanx a lot everyone for the help. wish i could give all yall 100 points each so imma leave it to vote for question. thanx a million.

She might get some idea of what you purchased by the name of the store that shows up on her CC statement. If the store is Victoria's Secret, she'll have a good idea of what was purchased. If Wal-Mart, she'll have no idea of what was purchased. CC statements don't itemize the items purchased. It might be possible with the CC statement and the codes on the statement that she can have the merchant do a trace for the receipt. But I doubt they merchant has that kind of time unless they are threatened with a challenge to the charges.

My Chase Credit Card was terminated/cancelled without letting me know?

Chase Bank terminated my credit card without notification! I didn't have a balance and I didn't use it for a while! However, I took it with me to Hawaii and it didn't work and it was expired. I called Chase Bank and they said that it was terminated because it wasn't active! I'm trying to contact them to re-open my credit card, and they telling me that your credit card doesn't exist. So, I want to contact the head of Chase Bank and I cannot find it online. Any help is greatly appreciated?
Thanks,

A lot of banks will close your credit card if you dont use them. I had one of my Target Visa cards closed because I hadn't used it in 13 months. By law, they are under no legal obligation to keep your card open if you dont use it. My suggestion is to keep all your cards active. Charge something once every 6 months to keep them alive. Unfortunately since the card is closed, there is little you can do about it.

Unsecured Cash loan, short term MILITARY (10 points)?

Hey I have a very unique situation.
I am in the army national guard, so i work one weekend a month. I do not qualify for any loans because of my military status, and I don't qualify for any military loans because of my reserve status.

I am in a TIGHT situation right now, just moved back to tennessee from hawaii and the fare was 1300 more than i expected. I do have a part time job, but it has only been for 2 months, and I only have a prepaid bank account with Centennial Bank, so I cannot receive loans from them.

I need an online site where I can get an unsecured personal loan, any kind, ASAP. Does anyone know of a place that loans cash quickly to practically anyone???

I don't need lectures about how they're ripoffs, and unsafe, and how I should go about finding another way to get money (4 all those smart aleck top contributors), because I know this, but desperate times call for desperate measures.....

so serious answers only please, and please make them helpful, not degrading. thank you all

I certainly do not recommend them, but have you tried payday loans. There are all types on these small store loan places near where I live. Their rates are excessive, but when someone is desperate they are better than the neighborhood loan shark.

I also wonder about the service agencies that help military families. If they can not make the loan themselves they may be able to help you find a place that will.

Is it possible?v2?

Help with..............?
Is it possible!?
Is their anyway I can transfer money to a pay-pal/bank account using a pay call service.

Example.
My friend in hawaii wants money so I want to know is their any service that allows me to ring them and charge me money for the call then transfer the money to some sort of account?
EDIT:
I do not have a bank acc either does my "friend"
I need some way of paying someone for a coding job I can only use a telephone is thier some online service that will allow me to transfer money to his acc easily?I need to do everything online and yes im under 18.

This is very urgent so I appreciate help

Thanks in adavance.

no there is nothing you can do apart from send a postal order as you dont have a bank account

Bank of Hawaii Corporation: Press Releases: 2010-04-19 17:16:32

Date of Release: 2010-04-19

Bank of Hawaii Corporation DBRS Comments on Bank of Hawaii Corporation’s 1Q10 Earnings – Senior at A (low)

DBRS has today commented on the 1Q10 earnings of Bank of Hawaii Corporation (BOH or the Company). DBRS rates the Company’s Issuer & Senior Debt at A (low) with a Stable trend. The Company reported net income of $52.7 million for the quarter, up from $40.5 million in the previous quarter and from $36.0 million in 1Q09. On a sequential quarter basis, lower provision for credit losses, higher net interest income including net interest recoveries of $2.8 million and lower expenses, more than offset lower securities gains and other non-core revenues. Even excluding the $20 million in net securities gains, results remain solid. DBRS notes that Bank of Hawaii’s balance sheet remains strong with high levels of deposits, better than peer asset quality and bolstered capital levels. Positively, both nonperforming assets (NPAs) and net charge-offs (NCOs) declined during the quarter pointing to improving economic conditions. Specifically, NPAs fell $6.7 million to $41.6 million, or 0.74% of total loans and leases, benefitting primarily from a payoff of a commercial construction loan. Meanwhile, NCOs decreased $7.8 million to $18.0 million, or 1.28% of average loans and leases. DBRS notes that early-stage delinquencies are down as well. Lower delinquencies and losses within the commercial portfolio are being partially offset by increasing delinquencies and losses within the Company’s home equity and residential mortgage portfolios, but asset quality does appear to be improving. Weakness is most evident for the consumer outside of Oahu on the neighboring Hawaiian Islands given underemployment. Visitor traffic continues to inch upward and spending has stabilized. Even with improving credit signs, Bank of Hawaii still built the allowance for loan and lease losses by $2.7 million during the quarter and the reserve now represents 2.61% of total loans and leases. For the second consecutive quarter, BOH has taken securities gains to increase capital and decrease interest rate risk. After taking $25.7 million in net gains in 4Q09, the Company reported $20.0 million in net gains this quarter. With loan demand still tepid combined with solid deposit growth, BOH has been buying low-risk, shorter duration securities. To prepare for rising rates, the Company has been purchasing floating rate securities. In total, 22% of the securities portfolio has variable rates compared to 17% at the end of 2009. With a declining loan portfolio being replaced by lower-risk securities, the Company continues to de-risk the balance sheet. Indeed, BOH’s tangible common equity to risk-weighted assets ratio of 16.75% compares favorably to those of most banking peers. Even with enhanced capital metrics, the Company has yet to recommence repurchasing shares. However, management did indicate that BOH was approaching a point of capital sufficiency and will be evaluating capital management plans including possible share repurchases, which could restart this year.
