Am I the only one asking this question?
Why hasn't Intuit Quicken or MS Money integrated with online banking - Wachovia, Bank of America, others?
I access my bank service 4 times a week. It would be nice if they integrated the many features currently obtained from Quicken or Money such as budgeting and money management into the banks online portal. How come no partnerships have materialized?
I am aware that both Quicken and Money allow you to download bank data to each respective program (ala "integrated").
However the ideal situation would be the following:
I don't have to purchase Quicken or Money.
I access my bank online and their online banking portal has been improved with many of the key features typically found in personal finance applications (Quicken or Money). When will the major banks wise up and realize the benefits from this level of integration/partnership?

They both DO integrate with MANY major and several not so major bank on-line services. To the extent they don't, it is usually because the BANK will not allow it or has changed their site and it is hard to keep up.

What online banking services are available? Can you transfer money between your checking and savings accounts? Are there any fees for online banking activities?

bank locations and phone numbers

There is no fees to use online banking. But there are some limits to transfering money and bill paying.

I tried looking on my online banking account to see if I could change it but I couldn't find it. Is there a way to ask them to stop sending the notice of overdraft letters through the mail?

You might be able to go in and talk to a personal banker, but every time you overdraft a letter is sent out. It just tells you that you went over your balance.

and don't tell me to call customer service, i already have several times.

Something I don't understand is that my account balance is never current. I make my payment 5 days before the due date, and my balance doesn't change... 2 weeks later, my balance increases, and the payment i made from my checking account while indicated by a -225 is not reflected in my credit card account s a +225.. what's up with that?

When you make a payment using online banking through BOA, the money comes out of your account the day you specify. Not when you submit the payment. So you have to keep that in mind when you set up your payments. You may think you have more money in your account than you actually do. The exception is if you are making a payment to a BOA credit card. That money will come out the same day unless you specify a different date and you will see it immediately online.

i just got a credit card with bank of america, and i am trying to enroll it so i can see it online, i have contacted customer service several times to get the issue fixed i was wondering if anyone else out there is having any problems with it as well.

No, I just have problems with Bank of America in general.
