Bill pay bank of america Credit card payment?

I recently made a payment online for my bank of america credit card, how long does it usually take to go through?

Did you go thru your bank's online billpay or did you go thru BoA site to pay?

Usually your bank's online billpay will tell you how many days it takes for the payee to get payment. On mine, some are only one day, while others are mailed actual paper checks and can take a week.

If you went thru BoA's site, the transaction will probably process by the next day.

Bank of America - credit card pushers

Bank of America is put under the microscope for possible unethical business practices.

INDIA (CITIBANK & HDFC BANK) Credit card online payment acceptance policies for USA issued credit cards!?

Could anybody please let me know:
Does HDFC Bank,India & Citibank,India accepts online payments made from any USA Bank (Eg: Bank of America,American Express,Washington Mutual,Chase etc) issued Credit Cards ?

They should accept online payments from those banks, but its possible that they require some kind of international payment gateway to transfer the funds. I would advise you call those banks to see what their specific policies are regarding that issue.

Credit Card online payment question?

Well I am thoroughly pissed. I made an online payment to my Bank of America Credit card through their website. I double and triple checked the account and routing numbers. Well, payment posted on time, all was well. Today, I noticed the money had not been debited from my checking account yet. I call bank of America to find out why. I now find out that my bank had declined payment. I call my bank and they claim they never received any payment request from Bank of America. What the heck am I supposed to do. I had 0%apr for the first year assuming payments were on time, which they have been until this incident. I saved my reference number from the initial transaction, I have a statement showing the money was in my checking account before, during, and after this apparent decline. Any ideas?

Print out the page where it says it will pay it on such and such date, print out your bank information from the day before, day of, and day after and take it to your bank.. they should ask you a bunch of questions. Some banks can deny like a check or a card usage anytime they want for any reason, see if they have a reason. Just make sure you have all the information printed out.
Call your credit card company, tell them that you did an online payment of (amount due) on such and such date. Pretty much what you want to do, is tell them you made an online payment and something went wrong at the bank, but have something from the bank that proves this fact.
Then, if the bank doesn't correct it, next time a bill is due, then pay through the credit card number or go into the credit card's office and pay that way. Or just go through a different bank.
I haven't had any trouble with U.S. Bank's online banking yet.

Hope you get it figured out. :)

Bank of America credit card payment not showing up?

I made a payment on the 8th of July (it even shows up on my billpay) and it DID show up on my statement online. But suddenly it is not longer showing up on my online statement and it says that my payment is due for this month and the due date is july 18th. But it is still showing up on billpay. Did something happen??? HElp Please Thanks

Bank of America is the worst Bank when it comes to account management and customer service. and after all, isn't that what you choose a bank for??. I have had major problems with this bank and so have several other people I have known. It's sad that they keep getting away with the horrible jobs they do.

Can you make a Bank of America credit card payment even with negative account balance?

Hello, recently my BofA checking account became negative due to an automatic payment that was posted earlier than expected. I have a BofA Visa credit card payment due soon that I usually pay online through my checking account. I have cash in an account with another bank. If I were to send a payment specifically for my CC, will BofA automatically put it toward my negative balance? Is there a way to make a CC payment without BofA considering my negative balance?
Also, the address to send the CC payment to is BofA's main address. They did say however, to attach the bill stub with a check or money order.
OOPS and forgot to mention that it says to "make checks/money orders payable to Bank Of America." So there isn't a separate CC address.

You cannot make a payment from your negative B of A account to your credit card, BUT you can make a payment from cash at your other bank (using online bill pay I presume?) No, they will not auto credit your overdraft...if you mail the payment to the credit card mailing office, it will be posted to the credit card only.
