Bank Of America Online Account

I signed in the online banking site for bank of america as usual, since I opened my account with them and just now I saw that neither my checking account or my billpay section is available, WHY?

you have to go to the bank and sign up to make it show up online. i had the same problem but with my saving account. when i checked online it only showed my checking account. so i had to go to the bank and they fixed it so it showed both

I am a minor and I was wondering if I could have my own online banking account for just my account. When I had bought something or need to know what my account balance is, I would ask my parents to check it using their online account. My checking account is tied to my parents because I am a minor, but is it possible for me to have my own online banking account so that I can check my balance and spendings by myself, without having my parent check it using their online banking account and without having any control or seeing their own accounts?

If you have a social security number, i think you can have your own account. Contracts with minors are voidable by the minor. That means that you can change your mind at any time ... which scares a bank. Go in and don't tell them your age and see if you can open an account. /

Problem is login to my online account of bank of america. I have contacted them and when entering by temporary password, it is ok but then after changing to my own password, I can not login. Can somebody help me?

Call Bank Of America's customer service number. They have people that can talk you through the process.

Somebody stole the money from my bank account but they put it on another bank of america account, I've been trying to recover the money but has been almost 90 days, can I recover the money yet? they have the account of the person who did it, they are been trying to avoid me. thanks.

you should go to your bank branch..and see their director..and tell them the whole story and they will probably give you back don't worry

Im 16 and was wondering, if i were to open my account online would i still get a card so i can go to my local bank of america atm box and get money out.
So if i were to open the account online checking, savings doesnt matter, i could go put money and take money out from the atm box.And also one time i went to try and open an account at bank of america but they said that i need 2 cards that had a picture of me, so what im getting at is that wouldnt it be easier to do it online so that you wont need 2 picture id's?

In order to open any transaction type account you must be able to prove your identity to the bank. This is due to the anti-money laundering laws. You can "open" an account on line put you won't be able to withdraw funds until you actually go to a branch with identificatioon and they will do what is called a 100-point check. You'll need things like a driver's license, birth certificate and social security card to actually be able to access your account.
The exception to this is if you are able to transfer money electronically from another US bank to your new account.
Once you do this, yes, you'll get an ATM access card linked to your account.
