Bank Of America Military Bank Online Banking

I am looking for options besides Bank of America Military Bank or USAA.
and would you recommend them?
I want to add that I am looking for suggestions from military or military spouses.

Citibank
I've been with Citibank for years and I've never had any problems even in the military i had no problems so yeah from personal experience i would suggest it

Ok I used to be in the army but I am out now and I rent out a property to a soldier at Fort Campbell. The rent is paid every month by allotment into one of my bank accounts. Here is the problem:

On September 1st I went online to check the account to make sure the allotment went through so I could pay the mortgage.

The account was missing so I called Bank of America.

Long story short Bank of America closed the account on August 31st (the day prior) due to a mistake.

The only way to reopen the account is to submit a request in writing to Bank of America.

I don't care about the account but the allotment for $800 was rejected on September 1st because the account didn't exist.

I spoke to the soldier's wife because he is gone for training and I told her that I thought that on their September 15th LES the money would show up and they could pay me then since it was not their fault this happened. I also gave her my new account information so her husband could change the allotment to go into another account.

She called me yesterday (Sept 15th) and said her husband changed the allotment but there was no extra money on his LES for the 15th.

I haven't paid the mortgage yet because of all of this and I don't want it to be 30 days late (it is now 2 weeks late). I can borrow the money from someone to pay it but I would rather find this missing $800.

Her husband is still in training and she doesn't have power of attorney for him so I am trying to figure this out by passing messages through her.

How do I find where the money went? Who can I contact or who can I have them contact? All she knows how to do is wait and see if it is on their Oct 1st LES.

Any suggestions.... or an exact answer of what to do to get the floating money back would be appreciated. Thanks!

She needs to call the finance office and find out what happened. They should have complete records of the money.

So my friends and I are winning a huge science fair. The prize is a $8,000 dollar EE saving bond.

When will I be able to cash it in for its FULL price? (I dont know when it matures or anything)

Will the government tax the money (Its a military sponsored science fair)?

In the current economy (It will be in my Bank of America Checking account that I opened this year) how much will the interest be on it?

Do I receive it in paper form (like a check) or in online form (like paypal)?

Series EE savings bonds receive a fixed interest rate for up to 30 years (1.30% through April 30, 2009). If it is a paper savings bond, then the current value is $4,000 but if it is an electronic savings bond then the current value is $8,000.

This money would normally be taxable as income and the bond is not something you put in your Bank of America account.

Hello I am from new zealand and I would like to join the U.S. army. Is it possible to get the army or a bank in America to pay for what I need to get in (tickets, accommadation, etc.) and then when I am enlisted pay back in full what I owe. I have previous military experience but I seek more of a challenge.
And also is there anyway to apply online to the U.S. Army as all the sources I have tried failed. And if to marry a U.S. citizen is one way to get in does anybody know someone who would help me with that, or want to help me out? lol. I could pay money if that's an incentive.

To put it plain and simple...NO. Money is not the issue, you'd need to be here in person to join the US Military! Step one, get to America, step two...get citizenship...Lastly, your not going to find someone to marry you over Yahoo Answers!
