I just found out my mc id was stolen. It is being used in Albuquerque,New mexico? How do i find out who has stolen this? I was shocked when i found out. I have never felt so violated in my life! I've used qvc,hsn,the liquidation channel,orange shark.com,ect, but they have been using my id, depleted my bank account using this information at allsups,fuddreuckers#2,chevronMBcontact.com and Dions#3 also,taco bell/ph all in albuquerque,nm. any ideas how i might locate these people? and find out who might have used my id there? My bank is also looking into it, and have called them and told these people i have never been to New Mexico. If you live in or near Albuquerque,NM please answer this.! I am desperate to find these people or person. I want to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and if you have any other information about this kind of identity theft, Please let me know, and if there is an online site where i can find similiar sites about identity thefts already know about, please inform me, so I may inform the FBI.Thank you;wanda K

Just close the account and let the bank handle it from there. You can put it on fraud alert through Trans Union Fraud Dept. Their toll free 1-800-680-7289. They will notify the other 2 bureaus and must be renewed every 90 days in order to keep it active. You should also run your free credit reports from annualcreditreport.com or call them toll free 1-877-322-8228 for all 3 free reports. If there is something on the report you're not aware of, dispute it immediately.
