Alright, I want to set up my Royal Bank account to my paypal.
Bank Name: Royal Bank of Canada
Transit number: 00131
Institution number: 003
Now when it asks for my account number... It shows me this on my online bank account 00131-0000000 (the 0's are not the actual bank number im just showing you what it looks like)
I tried entering the 00131 and the other 7 digits and it worked but they sent me an email a few days later telling me it was Invalid. So I tried it again without the 00131 and just put the 7 digits. Is that how its suppose to work or did i have to enter the 00131 with the 7 digits? It says Deposits Sent Yesterday evening. But I never got anything yet. How long does it usually take? I put my details in yesterday afternoon.
is that my account number the 7 digits instead of the 00131 ?
You really need to look at the numbers on the bottom of your check,
there is a number that is AFTER your acocunt number ( verification number )
and you can only see this on a check.
call your financial institution
if it worked on pay pal.. the deposit should be monday, since deposits can take approx 24-72 hrs.

How do you find your bank account number?
I am trying to register an account for online bankingt. One of the requirements for doing so is entering your account number.
"Account Number: (Enter a Chequing, Savings or RBC Royal Bank Visa account number, without spaces, which is accessible with your card.)"
Is there a way I can find out what it is without calling? I am with Royal Bank, by the way.
Unfortunately I do not have a cheque to use to check the number. This is strictly a savings account and I have no other account open with the bank. I also live far from my nearest bank.
Don't you have a passbook?

Do you have a question?
I recieved a phone call from a collection dept. in Toronto, Im from Saskatchewan. The woman on the phone stated that I was overdue on my Student Line of Credit and that I owed 3500 dollars to be paid in full. I asked her why it even went to collections because I wasnt behind. I have recipts for all my payments. I told her I needed to follow up with the bank. The woman at RBC stated that it was out of their hands and I had to pay it in full they cannot bring a loan back after it has gone to collections outside of the bank, and It would show up in my credit report as an R9 which is not even correct. On top of all of that I was told that they relayed the status of my account to my Mother, is that not Breach of confidentiality? I was told all of my dealings had to be through the collection agency, and I said that I owed the money to Royal Bank not the collection agency. I was told to try to make a payment at the branch and see what happends, I checked my online banking and its showing No such account. What the Hell am I supposed to do? What are my rights ane who do i take this too?

dont believe the lady on the phone yet!
Take all your reciepts and loan agreement to the bank, and raise holy ----. tell them you want an explaination and that they breached your agreement! and had no right to send it to collections. if they sold your loan to a nother company, then you should of been informed. demand answers! good luck!oh, dont sent that collection place a dime! but get to the bank before your payment due date!
Under 18 and want to get a card to use online... trying to stay away from credit cards as long as possible. I have an account and debit card with Royal Bank of Canada, but I can't use it to buy / sell online. Don't want to lie about my age to PayPal either.
So I've heard about these re-loadable credit cards... seems to me like its the same idea of debit, and they work online. Can someone please explain to me how they work, if and were I could get one, and how to transfer money into it?
There are a lot of them out there, and some banks have them. like Western Union. What is the best one, and does RBC have one?
Thanks!
I think most companies have them, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. I had one once I received as a gift.
Basically, it is a gift card that you put a certain amount on. Many times, you can add more money online or at the store.
