you need to set up internet banking with your branch they will then send you log in details thats the only way you will be able to use the internet banking service from them

You have to set your account up for internet banking. You can either notify them through your branch or through the customer services phone number. You cannot view your accounts until all this has been set up and they have sent you the relevant access numbers etc.

The Abbey 16-18 account comes with a Visa Electron card. This can be used online at most retailers, although a handful don't accept it. It is worth checking before you make any purchases.
