Subscription Line Of Credit

I own a small business and i would like to offer my customers a line of credit. How much would it cost for me to subscribe with one of the 3 credit bureaus? I would like to be able to access my customers credit history and post to it like any other credit card or loan. Please do not reply with "You can get a free credit check once a year." That is not what I'm asking.

It's expensive. There may be different levels of membership. You best bet would be to contact one and get pricing.

But an even larger cost factor would be carrying accounts receivables. You'll need additional accounting personnel to handle posting those accounts, not to mention preparing monthly statements, and dialing for dollars (collecting).

In the long run, you will find it more cost effective to pay the merchant fees and accept Visa and Mastercard.

I want to purchase a subscription on a website but I do not have a credit card. I do have a pre-paid one that was given to me as a gift. It is a Visa but someone else purchased it and put an amount on it and gave to me as a gift.

Yes you can, as long as the pre-paid card has a maor logo (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, Discover) and that site accepts payments by those agencies.

Unless you arent the one that purchased the subscriptions and its fraud you would be responsible for cancelings the it.

I know I can use a credit card, but that's out of the question for me.
On checks, do you think I'd need to bother including my account number on the 'For' line?
Also, is it really possible to put cash in the payment envelope? I know it'd be pretty dumb to do that just in case the mail got lost, but can people actually do that?

Including your account number on the check would be a wise thing to do.
Don't send hard cash on the mail though. Pay with check or money order if you opt not to pay with a cc.
