Pc Line Of Credit

I would like to get rid of my Professional Line of Credit (this was my student loan). I have around $40Gs left on it and I would like to put it on my mortgage and just pay a higher bi-weekly mortgage payment. Can I do this? and how?

You would have to refinance your current mortgage and use the equity in your home to payoff the existing loan, assuming you have 40K in equity.

A family member has been getting my credit & debit card numbers and keeps using them to order things online without my permission. I get new cards and numbers but he still finds the numbers and I don't find out that he has stolen from me again until I see the statement. I'd like something that would alert me when my card numbers have been entered so I can confront him right away and cancel the orders. I've heard there are programs that log all activity but all I want is an alert to when just my card numbers are entered or just log the use of the card numbers. He has more computer experience than I do so it would have to be some type of a hidden program so he wouldn't see it on the computer.

Please don't tell me to have him arrested, that's what I'm trying to avoid. Maybe there is something that would block the numbers or require a password or another level of security before the charges are allowed. Any ideas will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance for all your help

Storing information on the computer is a risk, because anyone may be able to access it. Another thing that may cause concern is that you may have Spyware on your computer, or that somebody could have possibly hacked into your computer and is monitoring your activities.

And as Little Melon has already said, if your browser uses cookies, (they're files that store information) so therefore you should check that they don't contain any info that you want to keep to yourself. Delete cookies if you have to, although when I once deleted cookies, they took a long time. But it's worth it if you want to stop someone from 'stealing' your important information.

My main suggestion would be that you NEVER share your credit card information with ANYONE, and that you keep track of where the false owner of the credit card are purchasing things. Also, you should check if you have any programmes or sites that keep your password(s) in check. Make sure that you don't check the 'Remember me' box or whatever if you're sharing computers with other people.
