I have tried several links to get a 'free' credit report but they all have these 'trials' of something and want your credit card info in case you don't cancel in time after your free 'trial'...any sites out there that do not have these conditions?
I have never gotten my score and have purchased 3 homes in my life. I refuse to pay for the score since I believe it should be free. I read and read to see how to make my score better. I think its more important to know what's on your report and how to improve it. A score is usless to me unless you have the tools of knowing how to achieve perfect credit.
Print your reports when you get them so you can review them carefully - keep them in a file.
I don't need a score company to judge me.

Hope this help,
Where can I find a good site for free credit report on line.I need to be trusted site.
I used this one two week ago totally free, they will give you up to a weeks trial and you can access your report immediately it will give you a report for all the main credit report providers Experian, Equifax and TransUnion.
They also do provide other services if you choose to get membership.
I have no credit card and all of these agencies that offer a free credit report are requiring you to give your credit card information. And annualcreditreport.com keeps saying there is some kind of block preventing them from giving any information at this time. It says to try again later, but I have been trying for days. If anyone can please help me i would appreciate it. Thanx .
If you are not able to get your report from the annual free website, call the credit reporting agencies directly. You might not be answering all the security questions correctly, or there might be a different address on your credit files if you have moved in the past year or so.
Also, if you submit a dispute on your credit file, the credit reporting agencies always send you a copy of the credit file with the results. I know that Equifax has an option to receive the result copy online (www.investigate.equifax.com).
The other thing that might cause a problem is if you do not have a credit history. You say you have no credit card ... have you ever had credit cards or loans in the past? If not, there simply might not be a credit record available.
When in doubt, call the credit reporting agencies directly - you can request a free report if you were denied credit, or if you live in a "free" state (Maine, Massachusetts, Georgia, Vermont, Colorado, New Jersey, or Maryland), or if you are a victim of ID theft.

Consumer Traps & Tips: A weekly service of the Palm Beach County Consumer Affairs Division
Topic: Really Free Credit Reports
Trap: Andy from Boynton Beach had seen the funny and clever commercials on TV about “free” credit reports. The commercials were entertaining with a catchy song and they left him wondering exactly what was in his credit reports. Could he really get free credit reports by calling the number on the screen?
Tips:The Fair Credit Reporting Act guarantees access to a free credit report from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies - Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion - at your request, once every 12 months. Reports can be received from all three agencies at one time, but Consumer Affairs recommends obtaining a report every four months from just one of these agencies for better monitoring. • Don’t be fooled by TV ads, e-mail offers or online search results. Complaints have been received from consumers who thought they were ordering a free report but instead paid hidden fees or agreed to unwanted services. Those “free” services sometimes automatically convert to credit card charges if you do not cancel within a specified time period. A good source for information is the Federal Trade Commission Web site, http://www.ftc.gov. • Warning about imposter Web sites. They may use terms like “free report” in their names; others have URLs that purposely misspell “annualcreditreport.com.” The Web site “annualcreditreport.com” and the nationwide consumer reporting companies will NOT send e-mail asking for personal information.
