I am aware that Sovereign Bank has a no doc Line of Credit product for businesses, does anyone else know of any other unsecured no doc lenders? A search on Yahoo yields LOTS of companies offering no doc solutions, but none actually lending. If anyone knows of any in the NJ area, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

bank of america sometimes requires no docs. depending on your situation. if you have good credit and income that is not bs then its easy to get by without verifiying any docs. all they do is an appraisal which is paid for by them.

I am trying to get a Home Equity Line of Credit from my primary Mortgage holder on short notice.

They took my information 2 days ago and said it should be a breeze but now thyere not returning my calls.
My house is worth 399k , I have 165k in equity and am asking for home equity line of credit of just 15,000
This is an emergency situation and i have no one to turn to otherwise.
If they turn me down, how easy is the process with another lender ?

With the current market problems a no doc loan is almost impossible. If you have a good banking relationship check with them. Bank of America, Chase and Wells Fargo can do equity loans if you have good credit and plenty of equity.

Bank of America is a great way! There are no docs to sign! They loan up to 100,000.00. It is a very nice program..........You can even apply online!
im a hairdresser and cant prove all of what i make. i have 2 houses. i want to sell my latest to down size. i would need to get at my equity of which i have well over 100 thousand in it but mortgage reps tell me i cant cause they wont lend to someone who cant prove what they make. i would need maybe 30,000. i was able to get no doc loans in the past and now i cant. could i go directly to lenders like country wide or bank of america? do mortgage reps know everything?my credit is great, i have a great credit history. so is there any other way out in getting some cash to get another home?

You would have to supply them 2 years of tax returns to prove income. It sounds like you are like many small business people who take a lot of deductions, and it shows as you make a lot less than you really do.
Low doc, no doc and state income loans are a thing of the past. You aren't going to be able to get a loan without proving income.
Mortgage reps know the underwriter won't approve a loan with no documentation anymore!
