Go to the bank where you have a checking account and get a debit card. It works just like a credit card, but takes the money out of your checking account.

Is it best to line up at ticketmaster or to call with credit card on ticket release day? I was told ticketmaster doesnt even carry the best seats. Is this true? Where do I go about getting the best seats without having to pay a rediculas price from a scalper?
not sure about the pricing, but you could try here. they seem quite busy.

I dont have a credit card so I cannot buy online but is there a Health food store or any store I can take the TTC and go buy some?
You don't need it, it is sold over the counter now. It's called B-12 sublingual (under the tongue) it includes all the B vitamins.
We are moving to San Francisco next year for my husband to go to school and then possibly stay there. I am a certified personal trainer and I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science). How should I go about looking for a job? Should I look online before I come, or just wait till I get there? Also, is it going to be impossible to find any apartment if I don't already have a job lined up? We have good credit and will have enough money in the bank to pay 6 months rent or more up front. Will that be enough? Any other tips for moving from Canada to San Fran would be appreciated as well. Thanks!
It's really really hard to find a job without physically being here. I did it 2 years ago. I got lucky through craigslist, but I seriously sent out 90 job applications/resumes and only heard back from like 2-3 people. It is going to be EXTREMELY hard to find housing before you get out here. Try an Avalon Community if you have the cash. They took us, but my husband had to fly out special in order to get the place. The apartments are small but nice and fairly well maintained. Any other smaller type of apartment probably won't take you without you being here. A lot of people live in hostels/hotels until they find something, which can be pricey and annoying.
Two-in-three low income Toronto families face food insecurity ...

PHOTO, credit: LINK
Two out of three Toronto families in low-income neighbourhoods are unable to get the food they need and community initiatives such as food banks and school nutrition programs are not able to arrest a problem of this size and scope, according to new research from the University of Toronto.
Food insecurity — the lack of access to food due to insufficient resources — was an issue for 80 per cent of families on social assistance in the studied neighbourhoods. Even among the employed, the rate was just under 60 percent.
“Despite the presence of food banks, an alarming number of people are going hungry, which constitutes a serious public health issue,” said Sharon Kirkpatrick, who undertook the research as part of her doctoral work at U of T’s Department of Nutritional Sciences. “There is a misperception that programs such as food banks are a panacea. Clearly, we need new strategies for confronting the root problem of poverty.”
