how can one make credit line for business credit card go through the roof?
I just saw a commercial for the American Express Business card.
They call it a CHARGE CARD.
Absolutely NO credit limit whatsoever.
Give them a call.
They will give you 30 days to pay the balance in full, but there is no credit limit. Your business must be credit worthy.
With your current business card, just send in an extra 10,000 or 100,000 payment. This will show up as credit and be held in your account as such for 90 days. Call them, make sure you can do this.

I wanted to close a card that i've had for about 4 months. It's a card from Citi bank; and I have 2 other ones. They said that they could transfer the credit line and transaction history (need to double check on that one) to one of my other cards. Would it affect my credit score, even though I'm closing an account but keeping the same amount of available credit?
It may affect your score a little bit .... but not by much ... and not for very long. As long as your total amount of credit available does not decrease, closing an account will not affect the score. Opening a new card would drop the score a few points ... but not enough to worry about.
Bottom line ... there may be an affect on your score ... but not enough to worry about.

I've come to understand that using the card and paying it off, or paying minimum payment doesn't do much for your credit score in general. What I'm curious about is what the optimal balance on the card and payment made would be to increase your credit rating and credit line.
You may want to consider a loan to increase your credit rating. Make it a small Loan that you can handle. Also I would check out myFico.com and look for the simulator to give you good ideas. Paying on time every time makes the biggest difference to your credit.
If you just want to increase your line of credit call the number on the back of your card and ask them to increase it.
Hope this helps

I currently have four business accounts (Dell, Staples, Office Depot and Exxon). I would like to get a business line of credit or credit card without a personal guarantee, so I can eventually have a business profile under my company name. All of my credit cards are in good standing. But I don't want to have my personal debt tied in with the business debt.
I keep getting offers from Advanta but they ask for the Social Security Number for the business owner. Where can I go to get business credit solely based on the company's Tax ID Number? All of the other credit card accounts were obtained this way.
Do you have any suggestions?
Business credit cards come with a variety of reward options. Travel rewards, stay in hotel, cashback, savings on courier services etc. are some of them. The type of your business and services you require can be compared with various business credit card offers and the most suitable credit card can be applied for.
More money when you need it most
Business credit cards are specially designed to cater to large funding requirements of businesses. The credit limits on business credit cards are higher than normal credit cards. So, you are doubly sure to get that large expense properly handled without any anxiety.
Easy application process
If you have an established business, business credit cards are very easy to get. Small businesses or fresh startups need not worry here, because credit card companies are equally eager to give business credit cards to companies with good prospects and to those who show promise. So, even if you are just starting, you can get a business credit card.

I have one credit card with a credit line of 400(cash line of 80$). I know the max I can draw from an ATM is the 80$. But is there any way I can go into the bank and get the credit line deposited into my bank account?
The only way would be to do a cash withdrawal, then put the cash in your bank account.
Of course, the APR on a cash withdrawal is usually INSANELY high, so make sure you're willing to throw that money away in the form of finance charges.
Some cards will occasionally offer checks that you can write against your credit card balance, in which case you could probably write one to "Cash" and cash it, but those aren't that common.

The secret to Use A “Clean” Credit Card and make more money ...
If you’re the type of person who carries debt on your credit card from month to month, you should always have one “clean” credit card in your wallet, says Bob Sullivan of Red Tape Chronicles in his new book, Stop Getting Ripped Off: Why Consumers Get Screwed, and How You Can Always Get a Fair Deal. A “clean” credit card is one that you know can always get paid off in full if you use it, and you only whip it out for emergencies. For some consumers, this results in paying less interest and fewer penalties. In an excerpt he’s sharing with Consumerist readers, Bob explains how it works:
