Just wondering if there are any pros or cons associated with it. Anything I should know about the small print? Any success stories???
another plus, is that you can use points that you earn on most of your everyday purchases toward purchasing items associated with your carnival cruise...like free gifts that you can purchase with your points before your cruise and have waiting for you in your room when you board the ship...that was a plus for me...i like freebies...i didn't have any cons...it's a pretty good card.

My husband and I had a cruise booked for January, we found out that I'm pregnant and would be due around our date so we decided to cancel and get a refund. Carnival said they would refund our money but keep our down payment for a year in case we want to invest it in another trip. After a year they will give it back. They said our other part would take 2 months to get back since my husband paid with a debit card. Does this even make since? They said that it would have to go through 2 billing cycles to get our refund. It's not on a credit card though. It's a debit card so does it have to go through 2 statements? It's been since late June that we cancelled.
I have 12 Carnival Cruises under my belt and I have never - ever had any problems with Carnival accounting. There was a cancelled cruise and one that had false charges on my sail-n-sign and those were both refunded promptly. Why ask on the forum -- give them a call in Miami.
The voucher is worth $1,600, and it said I have to call this 1-800 number to validate my travel reservation. In return for going on this cruise trip, I fill out a one-page evaluation survey about my accommodations. So is this offer for real or too good to be true?
I'm guessing if I call them, they're going to ask for my credit card number.
I got the same but I don't know it's real or not. so Is that real $1,600 ?
Cruise Reviews and News » Are cruises offered from Hawaii to North ...
The answer to your question is: ABSOLUTELY – and the bonus here is that its on my favorite cruise line – Celebrity!
Celebrity offers one-way Hawaii cruises where you spend 7 days cruising the islands and then 5 days at-sea returning to North America – generally, Ensenada, Mexico.
Princess also does one-way cruises, but only to a few islands and only when they reposition one of their ships to the South Pacific.
NCL cruises only in/around the islands – doesn’t return to N. America.
Finally, the absolute best advice I can give you is not to use a travel website, but to talk to a good travel agent. Tell him/her what your needs are, and that you are looking for the best deal.
