Problems with my business line of credit can affect my personal credit history and my FICO score?

Two years ago I and my partner form a corporation. I believe that the bank granted us a line of credit because the credit record of my partner was good (better than mine, then). Now, our business is in troubles (it is related with real estate sales). Till now, we have paid punctually to the bank every month the minimum payments.

It would be rare that a bank would issue a line of credit to a company or corporation without also having you sign for it personally. With that in mind, your personal credit will be affected.

Good luck.

Can business expense (from Schedule C) counted as Credits on Form 1040-ES?

For a 1099 contractor during 2006, is the business expense calculated from schedule C be counted as "credits" or "itemized deduction"?

I'd like to use the standard dection, because stanadard deduction is higher than itemized deduction. If I do that can I write off business expense as "Credits" on line 9 of Form 1040-ES to reduce my estimated tax?

Use a Schedule C to figure your business profit to include on Line 1. The Schedule C expenses do not appear by themselves anywhere on the 1040ES, they in particular are not part of Line 9.

The standard or itemized deductions (from Schedule A) appear on Line 2 and your business expenses do not figure into either of these amounts.

What to do with shelf corp with business credit lines?

I purchased an aged shelf corporation from a broker and they were able to get me $50,000 in business credit lines in the form of multiple Visa, MC and an Amex card based on the company's credit profile. That's the good news, the bad news is that my partner (co-owner) will be unable to fulfill his obligations in our partnership agreement pertaining to the company. Now I'm not sure what to do with this shelf corporation as I paid 15k for it and don't really want to lose money - if that's possible. I tried selling it back to the broker I bought it from and they only offered to buy it for 10k. Any suggestions?

your kinda stuck - sorry.....

Recession or not, the cash flow is important for the survival of any business. The balance of cash to come and go, is influenced by many factors, which should be carefully monitored. Your company may have revenue and profit, but that does not mean that the account has enough money to do business. One of the most common reasons for business failure is poor management of cash flow.

If you have a business plan, out of cash flow projections and ensure that theyto date and provides that within the next 12 months. Otherwise, you can still have cash flow to implement the strategies described in this document, while writing a business plan (see part of the series, Business Planning for Survival and Recovery of recession). Make sure that your hypothesis must be based on realistic projections of revenue, so be conservative with your calculations document.
