i clicked on the link at the bottom to apply for the job but it is all automated and i cant go any further because im not really applying
i need a specific person, but like, i cant even find a human resource person... you never want to just send it to "to whom it may concern" because it needs to end up on someone's desk, i cant just send it to their PO Box and have it get to the right person
i ended up just calling whatever number i could, was on hold for 30 mins and got a name... all that for a stupid english assignment, its not even for a real job.. lol whatever
Generically, you address your cover letter as "To the hiring committee."
EDIT: You are absolutely correct. You need a specific person to send a resume to. But, you need to apply for this job in a two stage process.
The first stage is to use their application process, this is where you address your cover letter (if required) as: "To the hiring committee." You must do this.
The second stage is to identify the hiring manager (NOT Human Resources) and send this person a cover letter and a copy of your resume. Without doing any more research than looking at their website, I would send a letter to David White, President. You might want to dig a little more to find a more appropriate contact.
