please explain.
they both have a job title as "financial adviser" ..... how and why do they differ in what they do?
how much does their pay or income differ ?
and why and how do they consciously or not consciously take part in Ponzi scheming their own customers?
actually the term "financial advisor" is partly regulated as in order to use that exact verbage there is a particular license one must hold via FINRA
the pay can differ dependent on if they are associated with some program similar to like an edward jones, or bank investment program where they don't get 100% or as close to that figure of the production they do, if they are not associated with some brokerage house/program and its their company they would pretty much get all that production
the main difference between a bank "financial advisor/financial consultant" and a non-bank "financial advisor/consultant" is based solely on the location of their desks in actuallity they each do the same thing and same access to same stocks, mutual funds etc etc....
A personal financial advisor's job description is providing financial guidance regarding savings and investments. Get a complete job ...
I’m currently in school majoring in Finance and getting my minor in Economics. While trying to find an entry level position with a finance company in the Tampa, FL area, I came across an opening at Edward Jones for a financial advisor. However, while reading over the job description it sounds a little like one of those “work form home, own your own business” kind of jobs. Does anyone know or happen to work at Edward Jones as a financial advisor? I don’t want to waste my time or theirs. Thank you
bzzzttt!!! wrong to the person who said Edward Jones Co was aquired by Wachovia. That was AG Edwards. Edward Jones is a Limited Partnership owned by employees. I believe they have more brokers and more offices than any brokerage in the United States. They are as legit as any firm you could work for. It really isnt the firm someone deals with that matters , it is the broker they deal with. That could be you amd it could be at any firm including Jones.

So you are trying to cheat your recruiter out of any fees he or she might get for finding you a job.
Sorry, ask your recruiter.
What does it mean when a firm has a job position with a I,II, or III behind it. For example, a firm is seeking a financial advisor II, or a Life Insurance Representative III...
i would appreciate more thorough answers.
Generally speaking, this refers to job responsibilities and experience. For example, a Financial Advisor I would require less experience and/or education than a Financial Advisor II, and would be considered a more "entry level" position.
You've asked for specific answers, but the company doing the hiring is the only one that can specifically tell you what the differences are for each position, as each company will have different requirements for experience and education. My recommendation would be that once you find a position that you're interested in (or just interested in researching), go to that company's website and research the qualifications needed for each position and the responsibilities each position entails. That will give you a better picture and clearer understanding of the difference of the I, II, and III behind it.

- My husband never knows the meaning of simple. He created something that kept track of all the jobs it finds and then e-mails me once a day the ones that were posted in the last 24 hours.
- It worked so well for me that I had a job in weeks. He thought others may like to use this program to make their job hunt easier so he then created this website so you can use it too!
