What type of training to HR Block Financial advisors get?

I want to go there just long enough to get training and licensed so i can apply to another place that offers a salary and not just commission.

They offer the best training in the industry but the focus is to hire people for their own offices.

Sorry, I was thinking "tax pros" and not "Financial Advisors." HRB sold off their investment business to Ameriprise in 2008.

who do i speak to about back taxes?

Generally speaking, you're usually money ahead to deal with the IRS directly. This is because the amount of the installment agreement for someone with your amount of debt is based on an objective financial statement, not a negotiation. And if you disagree with the amount, the IRS has a process called "Independent Review" which ensures that a non-involved party reviews the proposal prior to it being rejected. This process often uncovers options that the collection representative overlooks.

A couple of these options that are often overlooked are the so-called one and five year rules. The one year rule allows you to pay a minimal amount for a year to give you a chance to eliminate expenses that otherwise would not be allowed on the financial statement. The five year rule allows all expenses that you have provided the entire balance plus projected accruals is paid off in five years.

Our securities fraud lawyers are looking into claims by investors regarding their purchase of reverse convertible notes from H&R Block Financial Advisors . Just this week, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority imposed a $200,000 fine on the broker-dealer for failing to set up proper supervisory systems over RCN sales. H & R Block was also ordered to pay $75,000 to an elderly couple that sustained financial losses from their RCN investments.

FINRA found that not only did H & R Block fail to properly monitor customer accounts for possible RCN over-concentrations, but they also failed to detect and respond to these possible over-concentrations. This is FINRA's first enforcement action over RCN sales.
