Credit Card Software

I bought some ftp software yesterday . It's not working properly and I've had trouble getting in touch with tec support (which I'm supposed to have for 60 days after the purchase). I've since found out about free ftp software. So now I would like to cancel the credit card transaction and let the manufacturer know I don't want the product. If it was a physical product I could bring it back to the shop within 30 days and ask for my money back (at least in Europe I can). So is it possible to do this with software, or am I stuck with this unsatisfactory purchase?

Yes you can. I know through experience. Contact the manufacturer and ask for a refund. The refund can take a few days to show up on your credit card account. Make sure you request your refund before your time is up. Once the refund is completed (maybe before) unistall the software.

I was trying to purchase the new iPod Touch/iPhone 3.0 software earlier today, but after I entered my password, it said that i had to have a credit card. I have enough money, but i don't want to put my credit card on to itunes (its a business one, so my company doesn't allow them). Can you tell me a way to buy the new 3.0 software without putting my credit card on? Thanks to everyone.

You may have enough money to buy the update itself, but you may be forgetting tax. It will only charge a few cents to a dollar on your credit card if you enter it, but just to be safe, i would redeem another gift card.

When the card number bounces the merchant will file a fraud report. Your IP address and/or shipping address will be used to track you down.

I use the Agora free shopping cart, and manual credit card option. This is a much cheaper approach. If you are just starting out, and have a manual and cheapest credit card system, then go this way. You see, your website won't be breaking sales records at first.

Then buy Google Ads.

I need to download some music but every site I go to either wants me to download software or give away a credit card number. I need a free music download site please.

Some of the legitimate online music stores also sell prepaid cards so you can still get your music legally without having to have a credit card.
