Credit Card Machine

How do I recycle an old credit card machine? We have about 10 of them and we are afarid that the customers credit card numbers might be in them so we dont want to sell them. We just want them to be destroyed.

Credit card numbers are not stored on the machines. But, ifyou are still worried about it, contact your merchant service provider (credit card processor) and have them delete the program(s) on the terminal. If you no longer have a merchant service provider, contact any local provider and ask them if they will buy it from you to reprogram for re-sale. A reputable provider wouldn't do anything with credit card numbers because they would be too concerned about losing their VISA/MasterCard certification.

I am a personal trainer, who trains independently of a gym. I have a potential client that wants to pay using a credit card. Does anyone no the best way for me to go about doing that, without the use of a credit card machine? Want to get paid, HELP!!!!

She could use her credit card to pay you by using paypal. The money goes into a online account that you can transfer back to your own bank.

try opening a merchant account with PAYPAL or something else, that way you can manually type the credit card #'s on a web page via your wireless laptop, and it will do the realtime merchant processing.

I have small pizza place and no idea what to do in order to charge credit cards. I got from my friend credit card machine but I do not know what should I do next. The machine needs to be connected to the phone and I have the phone but who I contact to be able to use the machine?

My nurit 8000 displays pin pad Inactive and wants me to enter a 6 digit code that I don't know . How can I reset the credit card machine?I have tried to enter the date but it displays fauliure.

Try calling the vendor who provided you with the machine.
