There's also a cat in there, but it was supposed to be in there because I had a friend coming over. The thing is, we went in there for some catnip for our other cats, but when we left we apparently locked it somehow. Now we're locked out (no key that I know of) and the way that the door is angled, we can't use a credit card or anything.(the lock) So now the door is locked and I don't know if we still have a key to unlock it. Parents will be home soon???

PS. Why is there a door lock or turn lock w/e on a door so you can get locked out? I understand the sliding locks and the chains where you have to be inside to lock it, but it just seems kinda stupid to be able to be locked out of a room in my house.

if the hinges are on the outside, you can take the pins out of the hinges, and remove the door.

is purchasing a small (3'') folding knife (camping,fishing...) online illegal. just worried about using my credit card for a knife then having it be illegal. i dont think it is because even places like wal-mart and target.com sell these. i live in ny btw

Just go to a grocery store or drug store & buy a prepaid credit card, register it as instructed in the rules of the card, & buy what you want. You have already paid for the card & it will have the amount you paid already on it. As long as you don't overspend, no issues. You can get reloadable cards where you just keep using the same card and just pay to refill it or but non-reloadable where you just buy more cards as needed. Neither of these have anything at all to do with the credit bureaus.

Hey everyone -- Thanks so much for all of your answers....But I have to Explain......My Husband is a Total Loser! He was relieved of duty from police department for domestic violence and now is trying to medically pension off but has not had an income in 7 months. Mommy and daddy are supporting him and he hasn't paid me spousal support in two months. He is a total scammer and always has a "plan." Whilst he drove to another state to supposedly help me after my lumpectomy surgery (I WAS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER LAST MONTH), He refused to pay me any spousal support saying that he was broke -- again! So instead, he (Kindly?) offered to give me the credit card number, etc. so I could order some supplies and head coverings needed to start my chemotherapy in three weeks (doing radiation now). His mother is a complete idiot and she is taking this personally and cannot stand me and is blaming me because her son never does anything wrong. I never had the physical card and he just read the numbers off to me and I wrote them down, etc. Now he is telling his mother that I stole the card out of his wallet while he was here staying with me to help me after my surgery. I am completely broke and am on disability right now and don't know where I am going to get $ to pay my rent as it is. I have no $ to offer to pay his crazy mother back. All the while during our marriage while he was abusive, his mother blamed me if that tells you guys anything. In the meantime, he has abused his three wives before me. I guess I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer either. In any event, I think I'm in a mess of trouble and it seems like the cancer isn't the worst of my worries right now. It's interesting how everyone glossed over the fact that you were not paid spousal support for over 2 months. You should contact your local DA, most cities have entire departments dedicated only to back Spousal and Child support. Depending on the state and situation he could have his pay garnished, his drivers license and/or car registration suspended, and in some cases Jail time.

Now the down side is that he probably did plan this and it "could" be seen that you took the card. This is where you need a lawyer to at least advise you. For your situation you should be able to check with local organizations and obtain one for free or very low cost. They can give you all the possibilities.

One thing you may want to try first is let his mom know that if she pushes the fraud you will push the back support(which you should do anyways but don't tell her). She may see that she may or may not prevail, but may realize that you would because he has no proof that he paid.
