Credit Card Holder

I am having a american express business credit card with my employer as a primary card holder, for the last six months. I use this credit card for the official purpose only. So my question is, am I making a credit history or not.

It depends. Some cards report onto the credit reports of "Authorized Users"...though I'm not sure if this applies to commercial accounts.

I know that I added my husband as a user to my discover card and he got an instant 3 year history (how long i"d had the card open).

I will be taking an international flight from the US soon with Continental, and I was wondering if the name of the credit card holder who paid for the tickets will show up on the tickets, or if they will ask for the name of the credit card holder at the counter when checking in? I do not want the person I'm traveling with to know who paid for the tickets.

You absolutely benefit from the use of the Corp Card. You will immediately inherit the history of the card. Keep in mind though you can also get hit with any negative should the bills not get paid. Not to worry though if that happens you can request the account to removed from the credit agency reporting. You would need to request it removed due to you only being an authorized user.
